Amazing beer selection, fair prices and helpful staff. You would be very hard pressed to find another beerstop in the GOA with better selection, or pricing. If you arent sure what you want, ask the staff. super knowledgeable about all things beer. If you tell them what you like, they can always recommend something new in that style and broaden your horizons. They also occasionally get rare beers other shops dont get.

All things Beer, amazing staff that knows more that you could think there was to know about beer. This is a must stop in to stock your fridge or cooler. Do interact with the staff. Ask them to help choose something for you. The knowledge they have is impressive. then next the selection is amazing always changing. There is something new to try everytime you stop in.
If there is such a thing as a beer god i am pretty sure they would hang out here.

This place has all the new beers and a membership program too. Who can beat that? Nobody!

I accompanied my husband here just thinking they’d help him find what he was after but ended up leaving with a gigantic can of beer myself. Not being much of a beer drinker I didn’t give him much to go off of in terms of what I like, but he seemed certain I would like this Vanilla Bean Blonde. He was right!

Update: Do you want keg fresh beers? Beertopia now has Crowlers, 32 oz of tap fresh beers that are like Growlers, but they can and seal themselves to take home for your refreshment pleasures! As of today (12÷04÷15) there are only two establishments in Omaha that are taking advantage of our new carry out laws. I purchased 32oz of New Belgium’s Hop Stout for only $ 4.99. How can you beat that?

No question about it, this is THE place to buy beer in Omaha. Chances are, if you’re looking for a beer and it’s sold in Nebraska, you’ll find it here. The staff is super knowledgeable and eager to help, and it’s great just to chat with them and geek out about good beer while you’re shopping.
I always end up spending way too much money when I come in, but that’s only because there are so many interesting, unusual beers I want to try.

Best craft beer selection in town. It’s a small store, but they have an excellent selection and always have the newest and seasonal beers before other stores.
Staff is incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. I was curious about a newer beer and they cracked one open and we tasted it.

I looked forward to going here for a long time, but honestly I wasn’t as impressed as I thought I would be.
YES the selection is large and lots of good local beers, that being said some of the stuff here was twice what I could buy it for at say HyVee or Trader Joe’s even. I suppose if you liked beer that was a little harder to find, you might appreciate it more.
The folks who work there are nice and helpful; maybe too much so. I don’t know if they thought I was going to steal something or if they really wanted to help me, but It kinda made me feel uncomfortable. If my husband hadn’t been there with me, I would have left sooner.
I know I’ll get a lot of slack for not rating them higher, but I’m being honest, sorry!

Best selection of German beer in town. What else can I say? If you like beer, this is the place.
Right next door to Crescent Moon — I’ve been hitting up beertopia since it opened. Recently turned in my points card for another hundred in beer and two glass boots!

I just found my new favorite store (for beer). It’s small but there’s still a huge selection of local, domestic, and imports to cover the tastes of pretty much everyone. I’m a cider fan and my boyfriend loves a good IPA and we were both able to find things we haven’t tried before here. They said the selection changes as new beers come in and so on. I will definitely be back!

No out of state visit for me is complete without grabbing some beer to bring back home with me. I love looking at out of state selections because it gives me a chance to buy some beers that I normally don’t have access to.
Beertopia is a couple of doors down from Crescent Moon Alehouse so I decided to stroll on through. It’s a small place but trust me, it’s packed with a large variety of both craft and import beers. They have a very good selection of both ⁴⁄₆ packs and a vast array of craft beer bombers as well. This looks to be the go to place in Omaha for your rare beer fix.

Knowledgeable staff and an awesome selection make this a weekly if not more often stop. Cold sixers and tall boys. Specialty bottles and limited releases. they have them.
One could go so far to say «If it’s in Omaha, it’s at Beertopia» Most of the staff takes knowing the beers personally. If you are at the ‘Moon and like one of the ones on tap, you can usually just go next door and pick some up to go.
Many of the other reviews have stated what you need to know, but I really like this place.
The prices are a little more than I would like to spend, but after all, it is a business and there is a bottom line. Heck, It’s sometimes cheaper than Cubby’s.
They don’t waste cooler space on domestic swill, so don’t get butthurt if they don’t have Bud Light lime or Clamato
Pro Tip: Join the rewards program to get free stuff after so many points. Also, plan on parking in back as street parking is no longer an option

First stop during a recent trip to Omaha? Beertopia! This small shop is packed full of local brews, micros from all over the country, and imports from around the world. They don’t have *everything* here; the place really isn’t that big. Even so, it would be just about impossible not to find something new, interesting, and exciting (or at least tasty) in this place.
Coming from the Pacific Northwest, I think I’m kind of spoiled by close proximity to dozens (hundreds?) of craft breweries in the Seattle/​Portland area. One of my favorite things to do when traveling, though, is try out the local/​regional beers that I can’t get at home. This place didn’t disappoint! Several great breweries in NE, IA, and KS are represented here, along with some of the best from coast to coast.
We loaded up with several varieties to take home, and every one of them was awesome– in fact, they got more awesomer as the evening progressed ;-)
Still thinking about that Vanilla Bean Buffalo Sweat… damn, that was some good stuff!

Wowza. Best beer selection for the size of this place. They really utilize every square inch that they possibly can in Beertopia! Someone has their head on straight when they choose every single awesome thing that fills the shelves here. Pure excellence!

I’m a pilsner and cider man myself, and they’ve got just about every kind I could ask for — Polish, Czech, German, Belgian.
Everyone who works there is friendly and informative, always willing to give an honest opinion.

Ahhh, good old Beertopia. I have been here a few times and every time is an adventure in itself.
I only go to Beertopia if I’m trying to locate a hard-​to-​find beer and they never disappoint. 99% of the time, they have what I am looking for.
As I will say a lot in my reviews, the prices are a tad high for me, but they can charge those prices because they have all of those hard-​to-​find beers.

As someone who enjoys craft beer, I could spend hours inside this tiny beer store! Beertopia is packed full of beers you can’t find in your local grocery store! I would recommend getting on their mailing list, as well, since they have new beers coming in every week. It’s a good way to keep up to date.
One note about the parking is that if you can’t find street parking, there is a tiny parking lot behind the building you will have to use, so be prepared for that. Other than that, nothing bad about Beertopia! Check it out, even if you are just in the market for something new to try! If you get overwhelmed, the staff is helpful as well!

Oh man, I can really nerd-​out at Beertopia. Definitely one of the best beer selections in Nebraska… or Iowa for that matter. The fact that it’s part of the Crescent Moon family is a huge bonus too. Ask the staff for their thoughts or suggestions on a particular beer-​related topic and you’ll probably be surprised at the depth of their knowledge.
They also host regular tastings and other small events. Great place for beer snobs or simply adventurous drinkers. I wish they were open later though. And parking can be scarce at times.
