Avalon Learning Center offers one-​on-​one private tutoring in all subjects to students of all ages. Our tutors are state certified teachers who also possess strong tutoring and mentoring skills. We employ holistic tutoring methods which encompass all aspects of a successful learning experience.

Avalon Learning Center was founded in 1996 as a holistic tutoring service for students in the Omaha and Council Bluffs areas. The mission of the center is to help students achieve academic success and self-​empowerment.

Meet the Business Owner

Mary T.

Business Owner

Mary is a state certified teacher whose experience includes several years in the public sector of education and twenty years in private tutoring. She has authored numerous tutoring programs and articles on education and has served as a guest instructor at Creighton University where she was invited to teach the tutoring methods employed by Avalon Learning Center. Other areas of her expertise include those of music, writing and law.
