History
Established in 1998.
If you wanted to find Lance before Auto Station opened in 1998. You would have had to go to the race track When Lance first started out in the auto business, you were more likely to catch him on the racetrack than with a wrench in his hand. Though he initially steered clear of the repair business, Lance eventually took his knowledge of cars from the speedway and applied them to the repair bay.
When Lance quit racing his passion for cars continued. Lance opened Auto Station in 1998 where his team of ASE-Certified technicians have served the Millard community with honesty and integrity. That’s why every employee at Auto Station dedicates themselves to quickly and efficiently repairing all vehicles correctly the first time.
Meet the Business Owner
Lance B.
Business Owner
Lance has been involved in the automotive industry since the age of 16. He started out auto racing and was involved in racing until 1998. In 1991 Lance decided to use his automotive knowledge and work in the automotive field. He worked at Western Auto when they moved into Omaha in 1991. Lance loved Western Auto and to this day credits Western Auto with his decision to open his own automotive repair shop. In 1997 Western Auto had been purchased by Sears. Sears decided to turn Western Auto into a parts only store, thus closing the repair shops at all 1800 stores. Lance was left with the responsibility of telling 18 people he had worked with that they were not going to have a job anymore. That is when Lance decided to open his own shop. Lance knew just what he wanted to do. He wanted to build a new building that is designed the way he wanted it. He came up with Auto Station as the name and they opened for business on June 14th of 1998. Lance has been involved in Habitat For Humanity.
