This is one hell of a bead shop.
They have EVERYTHING. It’s HUGE.
The quirky mom/​daughter team that runs the place is incredibly helpful. Be prepared that these folks are big talkers but not in a bad way. We’re pretty new at beading and they offered to give us free lessons on the spot. I also got a lesson on some of the terminology used in metals (how to tell what it actually is and what the quality is).
Super nice people, super huge shop. We live in Seattle but would have no hesitation making the drive to Olympia to «stock up.»
Be prepared that upon entering you will be escorted to a bank of lockers and told to lock up your bag/​purse/​belongings. It was a tiny bit off-​putting at the onset but after spending 60 seconds in the store you will realize that these folks are SO nice — which probably makes them even more vulnerable to shoplifters.
Yay for Unique Beads! I hope this place sticks around!
