As an artist collective, sbdvsnstudios, offers effective production and design to the music industry. Located in Olympia, Washington, we record and produce dozens of the top names in Northwest Hip-​Hop and have had the pleasure of working with a number of industry giants. Beyond simple production, recording and design – we are an artist incubator – a place to get your game straight with your coaching, production, recording, mixing, mastering/​branding, marketing, management, promotion.

Our recording studio in Olympia is the central nervous system for all of our operations. We have three microphone booths, a large sound dampened room for band recording and a lounge to take a moment to relax. Smoke is a multi-​talented and highly respected professional in the music industry. As a sought after Hip Hop producer, audio engineer, and recording artist, Smoke wears many hats. Since the late 90’s, Smoke has contributed his signature style of epic and evocative beats, poly-​rhythmic rhyme schemes, and technical audio wizardry to over 100 commercial releases. This list includes production for legendary artists such as Talib Kweli, Gregory Isaacs, Messy Marv and Devin tha Dude, to name a few. Smoke’s instrumental beats appear regularly on MTV and were featured on «Loose Change: The 911 Conspiracy», the most watched internet video of all time.
