Poppet Olympia

I have been shopping at Poppet since it was Chifferobe. It’s always been my go-​to place when I needed quality, low-​cost children’s items. I love the staff and the environment. The owner remembers people’s names, sizes, preferences, etc and goes out of her way to make sure you find what you need. My daughter loves going to Poppet and it is one of the few places she feels comfortable trying on clothes. For a little one with sensory integration issues, this is critical. I have always found the credit I earn selling back used items to be at least fair and sometimes generous. I will continue to be a regular shopper at Poppet for many years to come.

I was extremely dissapointed with the business concept of needing an appointment for consigning. Especially considering that there are not many consignment shops in the area. Not very friendly, retail space was extremely small, and selection limited.

Love the great quality of the baby items at this store. Great toys, clothes & books!

As far as clothing exchanges/​thrift stores for tots go… Poppet tops them all. The owner/​operator is so very kind and extremely helpful. I love that I can take my son’s clothes out of which he’s grown and trade them in for credit so I can buy bigger clothes. I’ll never have to spend tons of $$ on kid clothes again! She’s got great brands and everything is seasonal. Love it!

Pretty good stuff, better than the consignment place in Lacey

This is a great little baby boutique/​consignment store. The service there is fantastic: never annoying, always helpful. They have new stuff from brands like Baby Legs, Ergo, Robies, See Kai Run, and most recently I bought the most adorable organic cotton 3-​piece outfit from Happy Green Bee for just $ 15 (50% off). I’m going back for more in the next couple of days. They also sell a lot of used toys and baby accessories. The used baby clothing selection isn’t that great, but they’ve got some. It seems like in the last year they started focusing more on the new stuff, not consignment. It is a small store, but somehow they manage to carry a good variety of items. I’ve started many a sentence with, «You don’t happen to have …» and to my surprise they had it. The only reason I don’t give it all 5 stars is because of their schedule (they are only open til 5 and closed on Sundays).
