As an estate planning attorney, real estate issues arise often and I have for over 20 years been able to rely on the advice and feedback from my brother Paul. My practice covers 5 states, and he has been able to assist me in most of them as a trusted adviser and the source of out of the box ideas. A trustworthy farm boy, Paul will have your back.

I hired Paul to sell my home in Lacey. Long story short, i was disappointed by the experience.
Paul is a friendly guy and is easy to work with. He gave me and my wife a market analysis which showed a recommended price for the house, and estimated that it would sell within 60 – 90 days. The packet also discussed «right pricing» and warned against pricing a house too high and then lowering the price if it didn’t sell. A couple of months later, Paul was asking me to lower the price — exactly what his marketing analysis recommended NOT doing. Now, it isn’t all Paul’s fault that the house didn’t sell, but on the other hand, part of an agent’s service is the market analysis and recommendations they make, and in this case, they were completely and absolutely off the mark. The price has been lowered twice and the house hasn’t sold after 7 months. So as to the quality of the advice we received, it was quite poor.
In addition, Paul never once called me directly. He would return my calls when I left him messages, but he never called me directly. He did not call me and keep me up to date on what was happening with the house. One person or a thousand might have walked through my house, and I would never have known it. Towards the end, he went SEVEN WEEKS without calling me. I can’t imagine a real estate agent ignoring a client for seven weeks and expecting to keep that client happy … or to keep them as a client.
So in summary, Paul is a nice guy and he seems to know the Thurston County market well. On the other hand, the advice he gave us was well off base, and he did not communicate with us very well at all. Hence the 2 star rating.

I could not recommend Paul more highly. Being an out of town buyer is difficult but Paul made it as pain free as possible. He would go out and film homes we were interested in and email them to us before I bought the non-​refundable airline tickets. He spent time educating me on points of interest, schools, safety and commute times.
