Just relocating to Washington, I was in bad need of a new stylist in Olympia area. Jenny, however quite, listened to what I wanted, looked at pictures and helped me choose a color and took her time. the couple hours I was there I personally very much enjoyed the experience. she’s quiet like I said, but for me it was relaxing! As I am a quiet person myself. …LOVEMYNEWSTYLE from Jenny. I’ll be back in 8 weeks!

I started going here looking for a decent priced and good colorist and short hair stylist in the local area and found this place by reading Unilocal and I am so happy to have found this place. Yvanna and Ashley are wonderful. It’s also open 7 days awake. Love this place.

Dat did a really great job, he was very welcoming and friendly, he really listened to what I wanted and did not rush. The cut was $ 30 which included straightening. They got me in same day too, which was nice. I’ll definitely go back next time I need a cut.

So I’ve been looking for a stylist for a long time. Every time I find someone I love they end up moving!!! I read some of the Unilocal reviews and decided to try Liz’s. I showed up early and was greeted by Dat who was very friendly. Dat was also my stylist. I brought in pictures of the cut and color I wanted. He got to work right away and made me feel soooo comfortable. My hair turned out awesome!!! I was so happy. Love the way the color turned out!!! Very reasonably priced. Will definitely be going back!!!

I went yesterday to get my hair professionally cut for the first time in maybe 10 years and dyed for the first time and Ashley went above and beyond to work with my dark brown hair to make it a light golden brown. I didn’t expect to even get that great of a result my first time considering how dark my hair was and how she went about it in a way that wouldn’t fry my thin hair! I love the salon and everyone in it. It’s very inviting and everyone in there is just so lively. They truly have the best customer service and do exactly what you ask for. I’ll definitely be returning soon.

My first time in this place with Lisa and she is totally amazing. After my mishaps at another hair salon, I found this place from Unilocal the next morning. She was able to squeeze me in the morning and fixed my hair. She knows exactly how Asian hair work.

Great haircut. Ashley did an awesome job and was very nice and friendly. I loved the actual salon as well and plan on returning for my next haircut. I was not offered water or coffee, which would have been nice as it was a little warm. Next time I will just ask. but overall a great experience.

I’ve been using Jenny for the last few haircuts, and she does a great job. It’s fifteen bucks for a haircut, which is cheap for the quality of the cut.

This is the best haircut for precision– liz is trustworthy, gentle, and can do tough jobs, she knows hair! My hair Is Impossibly thick and she fixes It every time, for half the price of another salon, who Isnt even as good! everything a good haircut requires — go here next time and you will be pleased.

I had my first experience at Liz’s and I will definitely return. The atmosphere was great: ambiance, music, orchids all over, little zen-like fountains, etc. Despite being unexpectedly short-manned on that particular day, the two ladies that were there were able to take care of every customer that came through the door(80% of which were walk-ins). Their work ethic and ability to work as a team were impressive. My stylist was Jenny, and I was very satisfied with her services. She gave me beautiful highlights and lowlights, and curled my hair before I left. She was meticulous with every step of the process and her precision paid off. I’d read a review by someone else complaining that she didn’t talk enough, which I thought was funny. She’s not super chatty, but she is friendly and professional. So if you’re going to Liz’s for a gossip session about celebrities or to discuss all the problems in your life(sometimes people mistake stylists for psychologists) then you might be disappointed. BUT if you’re going there to get an awesome hairstyle with friendly and accommodating service at a decent price, then this is the place. I was there for quite a while and got to see their interaction with all of their regulars, and it was very evident why customers have followed this business from Lacey to Olympia. One last perk, they have coffee, tea and bottled water… So if you show up without your caffeine fix(like I did) you’ll be just fine!

I love this salon! I always have Ashley do my hair and she does an amazing job and everyone is always very inviting. I also get my eyebrows waxed here and they all do a great job and you can’t beat the prices! Its the cheapest salon around.

I recently moved to the area, was in a need of a haircut came across this hair salon on Unilocal for their great reviews. I made an appointment and got a haircut by Jenny. She’s excellent she took her time, she even straighten my hair just to make sure the cut was even she didn’t even have to do it. Good prices and if its your first time visit you get a 10% discount if you check in with Unilocal!Definitely coming back here to get a haircut

If you come here, DON’T let Jenny do your hair! This salon has great reviews and has a nice friendly environment… until you meet Jenny. I came in for my appointment and was not greeted by her, nor did she introduce herself, nor ever smile. I told her what I was looking to have done(a simple semi gloss color) and she just stared at me, said something(in another language) to her co-worker(Dat) and he came over. Luckily, he was friendly and helpful, otherwise I would have walked out. Unluckily, she was still my stylist. She never spoke to me, asked me a question(want a magazine, water, etc.) When she started putting the color in my hair, she was yanking and tugging so ferociously I earned a headache and a neck pain. Then when she said«ok»(which was apparently her cue for me to go over to the sinks) she was so rough shampooing my hair and digging her claws so fiercely into my scalp, I had to stop her and tell her nicely, «You are being a too rough», She didn’t apologize, she ignored me, but eased up on her roughness. Which by this point was all I could hope for. Jenny also had some horrible cough and never once covered her face or bothered to turn her head and instead chose to cough all over me throughout this awful experience. During my visit I was chatting with another client(who was being well taken care of by Dat) and Dat, which was the only thing that kept me from walking out and made my time here manageable. Jenny dropped the hair clip and the color brush/wand while doing my hair and gave no care as to go on and continue using them on me. I noticed before I left, Dat dropped the comb he was using on his client, and replaced it immediately with a fresh one… huh, what a concept. Lastly, I asked for my hair to be dried and straightened and when I noticed Jenny attempt to flat iron my hair WET, I stopped her and demanded she blow it dry first… you know, like you are suppose to. Then, she attempted to cut another corner and not put a heat protectant on my hair, or anything at all for that matter. I brought this to her attention and she told me; «We don’t have anything.»(Great selling technique!!) I informed her I HADSEEN other clients receive serum in their hair and she then MIRACULOUSLY found some! I would have rated this place with a ONE star(what Jenny deserves) however, the environment was nice, Dat was friendly and he picked a great color for my hair and the prices were excellent. There was one criticism I have for the salon itself, and that was the towel she used after my shampoo smelled terrible, like mildew… but maybe Jenny just gave me a dirty one. I would return here, but not have anything to do with Jenny. My hair turned out fine, but applying semi-gloss isn’t that hard, and I would just appreciate getting my hair done without the pain and the attitude from my stylist.

I was looking for a new place to get my hair cut and happened to see the sign at Liz’s that said«Walk-Ins» welcome. So I thought what the heck? I didn’t need anything serious just a trim and reshaping of my layers. The Hair: Full of body, curly and medium length and spends most of its time in a pony tail when it’s growing out and I can’t do anything with it. I am always a bit apprehensive getting it cut because I’ve rarely been anywhere that knows what a «point cut» is and understands how to thin out the bulk. Also most curly hair has to be cut almost at an angle instead of straight across. The results of not doing any of the above increase the chances of me walking out with«triangle head» which has happened before. A lot. Anyway, Jenny immediately went to work and washed, conditioned and then started the process of cleaning up the layers. She was quick and efficient and very professional. I am not super chatty in the salon and just prefer to watch and zone out after a long day at work. The environment was very zen and easy to do this. I declined a blowdry, but she did a little bit at the end because it was raining outside and didn’t charge me for it. The total for all that was $ 20! It was 10x better than some of the more upscale salons I’ve been to both in price and quality and friendliness of the stylists. I made sure to tip Big and I encourage anyone else who is satisfied with their new do to do the same!

I was really impressed with the service I received today. I walked in and the place has this Zen feel to it, nice Buddha statues and lucky bamboo. I was greeted immediately by a very nice woman with a welcoming smile. She told me to take a seat and Ashley would be with me shortly. I requested Ashley because I’ve heard great things about her. She cleaned up my existing layers and enhanced my already reverse ombré colored hair. It turned out better than I could have imagined and cost less than half than my last salon! Totally satisfied!

I love Liz’s, after over 5 years with a salon that does threading, I was sick of price hikes and less than satisfactory results, so I decided to find a new location for my brows. I have several friends that recommended Liz’s. I love that they accept walk-ins and their business hours can’t be beat. I first came on a a Friday and Lisa greeted me and told me she would be with me shortly, as soon as her hair client was ready for the break. It was nice that she was fitting me in but not at the cost of her hair client. When the time was ready, Lisa took me back to the waxing room and took plenty of time and care to wax my eyebrows. She filled me in on the history of the salon. When it came time to pay I was thrilled with the price and the end result. I have come back several other times with equally the same experience even with other staff working on me. I would rate the salon higher if they specialized more in brow design and the aesthetic of the salon was more high end, still it is a very nice place. The location is close to the mall and the parking is limited however, I never had trouble finding a spot. Leaving could pose an issue on heavy traffic days depending on which direction you want to go.
