I think that this is a great place for families to visit when looking for a tree. I have heard that the prices are considered high, but you get a lot out of the visit. It’s not just a tree farm and even if it was, the trees are very well maintained and pruned. I went on opening day this year and was a little disappointed that there wasn’t more going on. I know they save most of that for the weekends but I thought that opening day would have had more things to do.

We opted to try a new tree farm this year, and we left empty handed. On a positive note~ the animals were fun and farm definitely had a festive feel. I also really liked the tractor ride. Negatives~ they did not have prices marked on the trees, nor tree descriptions(most farms have some indication of type or price). My biggest gripe though was the trees themselves. Most were already brown, while still live. I could not fathom paying $ 50+ for a tree that was already brown. We searched high and low and came across this throughout the farm. This is why we left empty handed… such a bummer!

This is a fun farm for a family visit.(Pumpkin patch pickin’ for Halloween) and reasonably priced trees for Christmas. They have a friendly Santa Claus the kids can visit and you can snap a photo with for free, as well as free hot chocolate. You can take a tractor pulled wagon /sleigh ride out to cut down your own tree — or pick one in the barn — that has been pre-cut for you. A boy scout troop is on hand on the weekends to shake the loose needles and wrap the tree with twine for easier transport. Plus there is a small area to pet goats, pigs, etc. All-n-all not bad for being just on the outskirts of Lacey.

Fun spot for pumpkins and Christmas trees. The staff was friendly and the animals look fat and happy :) we really enjoyed our visit here.

My son went here for a field trip with his preschool and I tagged alone. Nice little farm for smaller kids as it’s all fairly close together. They leave the smaller pumpkins in The fields for kids to look through.

I was very disappointed. I came here in the past for a Christmas tree and this place was amazing but as a pumpkin patch it sucks. There was no one and no excitement there. I have week days off so I took my almost three year old here to have some fun and she didn’t want to stay. I should have chosen a different pumpkin patch to go to.

Used to be great but I think they are getting ready to sell the place and build houses, most of of the land is no longer has trees planted, and so there is every year less of a reason to make the trip. This place will be gone by 2016.

The Christmas Holiday is not nearly as festive as the Halloween Holiday. There was an abundance of trees, a Santa for the kids and reindeer. But, it lack the festive environment of Halloween– no food or music. Still, the kids enjoyed it and we drank hot cider while searching for the perfect tree.

My boyfriend and i come here every year to buy our pumpkins for Halloween. They have a great kid friendly set up with small rides(carousel and giant slide). This year they added a mini pumpkin slingshot game. They also have a few vendors on site selling elephant ears, burgers and the like. You can pay $ 1 to take a tractor ride out to the patch or walk(5 minute walk) with a wagon that you can pull your pumpkins in. If you don’t want to pay or walk they also have a small selection of pumpkins near the entrance and at the tractor stop you can purchase. They don’t charge admission but their prices on pumpkins has gone up over the years. The baby goats are always the highlight of our trip.

My family and I enjoy this place and went for a couple of years, but last year all of a sudden their ride and other prices skyrocketed… so much that we avoided it this past Halloween because we couldn’t afford to put our kids on the rides. We ended up at a smaller but more cost-friendly family oriented pumpkin patch. I would love to go here again if they make the prices more reasonable.

Great spot to take the kids for live tree cutting! Santa, tractor rides to the lots if you don’t want to take a pre-cut tree, good saws for loan, Boy Scouts to shake/wrap/cart to the car(on Saturdays), complimentary hot drinks, and. There’s goats to pet, checkers, and hot drinks to enjoy around the wood stove. They’ve got several varieties of short-needle fir trees, and when you come back, someone will measure the tree, hand you a note to pay, and then you come back out and claim your tree(shaken and bundled if you choose). Cost was around $ 45 for a 6.5ft fir, which is a bit expensive, but you’re paying for the overall experience, not just some parking lot with a bunch of pre-cut trees. You can pay with credit card or cash, no checks. They have an ATM on site. We’ve been there 3 times and will return.

This place is great! Not only do they do Christmas trees but they also do a huge pumpkin patch. This place is more of a holiday destination. They have many animals to see and pet, as well as a huge goat petting area with the goats walking on planks to the higher part of trees. We love coming here as a family and making an event out of getting a tree or pumpkin. They have convenient tractor rides that go all over their acreage in order to pick out exactly what you want. They have rides for the kids as well as other events for the family. Be sure to go early as possible to pick up the best pick of the crop. We have been going here for years and look forward to it every year.

They offer a pumpkin patch in fall with activities for the kids and a cute farm shop and Christmas trees in winter. We loved getting to go out into the field and pick out the pumpkins! Family-friendly in every sense of the word!
