Business Owner

Trained as both a basic scientist and surgeon, Dr. Geissler strives to provide cutting edge medical and surgical care to his patients. A Tacoma native and second generation Ophthalmologist, Dr. Geissler obtained his MS in Toxicology and PhD in Anatomy/​Immunology from University of Washington. He went on to complete medical school at the UW with specialty eye training at the Storm Eye Institute in Charleston, South Carolina.

Dr. Geissler has published numerous scientific studies in diverse fields. Ophthalmology, Cancer treatment, Immunology and Toxicology fields just to name a few. He continues to be active in clinical research in addition to practicing medicine. He has a special interest in Cataract surgery, Clear Lens Exchange, ReStor Multifocal implants and Laser Vision Correction (Epi-​LASIK; PRK). He is Board Certified by the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
