I used these ladies a few years ago due to an insane amount of medical bills. I had an emergency cesarean followed by a week long stay in the hospital due to complications. I had medical insurance, but due to a «mix up» in the hospital’s billing department, they billed me directly instead. By the time this «mix up» had been noticed (by me repeatedly calling the billing department), the bills were in collection’s. I was only 20yrs old and on my own with a baby. By the time I was 25, I couldn’t do anything credit wise because of this. My paychecks were also getting garnished (not by the hospital directly, but services contracted through the hospital). I went to their office in tears. One collector even told me to use food money for my baby to pay him. I was reassured, given clear instructions on how to move forward and the garnishment stopped. I even got some money back. I kept my car through the bankruptcy (the only thing holding me back were those darn medical bills). Their office was available each time I needed anything, and they were affordable. Three years later, I bought my first home. This was the best financial decision I have ever made.
