When you’ve got 1,500 beer enthusiast lined up at your gate waiting on 15 G’s worth of brews they’ve already paid for it isn’t exactly the best time for your ice company to loose their driver — especially when its 100+ degrees.
Good thing there’s Olmsted Ice. While the other guys were busy servicing Wal-​Mart and their other larger volume, more important clients, Olmsted Ice came to the rescue recruiting their highly traceable driver and unloading a truck worth of goods (we’re talking over 1500 lbs of ice, this event sold out!).
They even broke their own rules by refilling the other guy’s ice chest — but they sure did win themselves a new client.
