History

Established in 1996.

Owner, Robert Smart, began Mr. Yard Landscape Supply after selling his previous company. Smart has been in the landscape and snow & ice management business since 1978. In 2007, he closed the door on 22 years as owner of his previous company, and immediately began building a new maintenance company called Smart Scapes Landscaping and realized his vision of a retail supply yard — Mr. Yard Landscape Supply. Several loyal team members followed Smart in his endeavor and are proud to be part of these growing companies. With over 85 years of combined landscaping experience, the Mr. Yard team is ready to guide customers through the material selection process. Mr. Yard has seen continued growth since opening its doors and, with new products added to its inventory each year, aims to be the one-​stop-​shop for both homeowners and landscape contractors on the southwest side of Cleveland.
