Dr. Richard Williams and Dr. Nathan Hamman are specialists in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics.

History

Established in 1985.

Our practice was established in 1985 by Dr. Richard Williams who received his dental degree, as well as his specialty training in orthodontics, at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. We have built a reputation of integrity and for providing high-​quality orthodontic care for our patients. Dr. Nathan Hamman joined our practice in 2010 after receiving his dental and specialty training at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. Dr. Williams and Dr. Hamman both continue to serve as associate professors in the Department of Orthodontics at UTHSC. Many of our team members have been with the practice 10 years or longer which enables us to deliver the most consistent and efficient care possible to our patients. Dr. Richard Williams, Dr. Nathan Hamman, and our team strive to build not only beautiful smiles and self-​confidence, but lasting friendships with our patients as well.

Business Owner

Dr. Williams and wife, Cindy, have two daughters, Olivia and Meredith. Dr. Hamman and wife, Amanda, have two sons, Reed and Amos Ray. Both Dr. Williams and Dr. Hamman received their orthodontic specialty training at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center where they continue to teach one day a week. Dr. Williams stays involved in his profession by serving as President Elect of the Southern Association of Orthodontists. Dr. Hamman currently serves on the SAO Scientific Affairs Committee and is the President of the Memphis Association of Orthodontists. Their most important professional goal is to offer the best service possible to their patients in order to build smiles that will last a life time.
