Dr. McClatchy has been our family doctor for 12 years or so. Within the last two years things have drastically changed at his office. He sold his practice to Methodist Healthcare and things have nowhere but downhill since then.
I can’t say I blame him for selling… I am sure it is much easier just being a Dr. and not a business owner. Billing, insurance, laws, etc… Have to be a bitch.
The staff has been replaced with your normal inadequate bunch of losers that most Methodist facilities have. Attitudes are the first thing you get upon arrival and it never seems to let up.
I had an appointment for a prescription refill on Friday 2−13−15. It is for a medicine that I take to keep me from injuring humans throughout the day. It is by no means life threatening (to me anyway). I happened to have a pretty bad car wreck on 2−12−15 and I told the triage nurse about it and said maybe he can take a look. She stopped me mid-​sentence and said, «Which is it going to be refills? Or MVA? You can’t talk about both…» WTH? When did it become this way? What happened to the world when you can’t go to the Dr. and talk about oh, everything that is wrong with you at once???
When corporations take over… That’s when… I need a new Doctor!
