Ms. Proto graduated cum laude from St. Bonaventure University with a B.A. in Political Science and attended law school at the Charlotte School of Law. To date, Ms. Proto has represented hundreds of clients with a strong commitment to client satisfaction and excellence in the practice of law. During the course of her legal career, Ms. Proto has published several legal articles in peer-​reviewed journals and has instructed her peers in a Continuing Legal Education course on Social Security Disability.

Ms. Proto is admitted to practice law in New York and North Carolina State Courts, as well as the United States District Court for the Western District of North Carolina. Ms. Proto holds memberships in the American Bar Association, the New York State Bar, and the North Carolina State Bar.
