History

Established in 2000.

Huston Lumber has been around for decades, but hired Maria Stapperfenne, CMKBD as their full-​time kitchen designer in December of 2000. With someone dedicated exclusively to K&B, the division soared! This division caters to our trade clients and their customers providing each client with their very own «HGTV moment» of watching their very own, personal space take on new life with the aid of computer drafting software.

Manager

With almost 25 years in the industry, Maria is a well-​known and respected Certified Master Kitchen & Bath designer (CMKBD) specializing in ergonomic, well-​engineered designs, utilizing the best match of materials for a clients needs/​wants and budget. She listens carefully to the clients, providing innovative solutions to their problem areas and excellent customer service.

She has been a member of the National Kitchen & Bath Association (NKBA) since 1992 and has been active on the local and national levels, most recently serving as the 2015 National President of the 50,000 member professional trade association.
