Established in 2000.

The Spirit Spa began in 2000 and was sold to its present owners in mid 2008. We have made many improvements and updates throughout the Spa and Gift Shoppe. If you have not visited us in a while; please give us a try.

I love this place! My mom and I went for a massage here early in the fall. She had been multiple times before, but her reviews didn’t do it justice. The spa is in an old Victorian house, with a great sitting room downstairs in case your early or want to hang out post-​treatment. I changed into a rob and was offered hot tea and an assortment of cookies, which were all great. The woman at the front desk heard me say to my mom that I was hungry, and they brought me out snacks! Great customer service.
I had a 60 minute massage with Kirsten (sp?), who did a great job. The music was soothing, the massage table was heated, and the room smelled great. I will definitely be returning!
If you’re looking for a spot for a light bite (or not so light) before or after, the Oldwick General Store is right across the street.

I had a wonderful experience here. The staff went out of their way to fit me and two friends in for treatments at the same time pretty last minute. They were very calm and reassuring. The place itself is adorable and in a really cute, quaint town center. They have a parking lot off the main street. My massage therapist led me up to the attic floor which was delightful — like a zen cave — and my massage was really good — she knew what she was doing. I did not like the scalp massage though it was way too dry. I suggest a massage and add the reflexology — THAT was crazy good.

This spa is WONDERFUL! The moment I walked in i felt like I was welcomed the receptionist were so attentive and made sure I was comfortable by offering beverages and little cookies. On top of that the facial was DIVINE. I was so satisfied with the work that they did and the delightful conversation that the facialist carried. The spa looked so well kept and had a very wide variety of services available, I can not wait for my next visit!

Its in a cute victorian building, but its not worth the treatment. The front desk person («Debbie») was rude and I was so irritated by her disposition that I just wanted to walk out right there, but then I’d be charged for my session of course. I frequent spas for facials/​massages and NEVER felt so perturbed that I actually wanted to leave. Im still deciding if I should tell the owner — not sure if they would even listen to the feedback.
And the massage wasn’t great either — it was very soft — like the massage therapist was putting lotion on my skin and thats it. What a waste of an hour and a waste of money. very sad.

This is catered more towards the ritzy type. It is overpriced for the type of service. It is nice when you first walk in, but there is no real front desk, and the person sitting behind some random desk in a room did not take the time to greet me because she was too busy talking to a regular client. Despite walking past me and looking at me several times she did not say a word. Finally the massage therapist found me and brought me upstairs. She opened the bathroom door and assumed I had to use it, which made me feel strange. The massage itself was not relaxing. It did not get out any of my knots and she spent way too much time focusing on my thigh area. After the massage was over she told me which of my chakras were blocked, without taking the time to actually tell me if she cleared them or not. I left feeling more like a broken soul than relaxed and revitalized.

Love this place! The atmosphere is really lovely, the staff is friendly and gracious and the services are divine. When you first come in the waiting area has some water and snacks for you to enjoy while browsing a fairly extensive selection of gifts and products. My personal favorites are the custom made jewellery. I’ve had great pedicures and manicures here but I’m more of a regular for a good deep tissue massage.
Vicki is phenomenal at working out all the pains from my overly-​ambitious workouts. It’s been a while since I’ve had a body scrub but these are a real treat, complete with some serious moisturizing.
Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area and looking for a bit of pampering.
