History

Established in 2005.

Cat-​fishing is the #1 reason I started Designing and building Custom Big Cat rods.

It all started over 10yrs ago I had designed a 2pc Hvy fast blank just for bank fishing. With that being said I set out to design and build the last Monster Cat-​Fishing Rod I would ever need for boat fishing. Using saltwater blanks is a must and I designed and fished one 7′ rod which was pretty good, But I wanted a rod that would be able to;

1. Cast (not lob bait 25′) cast 8−12oz or more 24oz.

2. Catch Big Fish (in any type of situation or technique your faced with.

3. Most of all. (it had to have a backbone strong enough to stop and or pull up 100+lb fish, with a upper section with enough flex and strength to tire a monster fish quickly with little to no stress on the fishermen.

Years went and so did many different blank designs after my first custom Cat-​fishing rod, and it happened’ I had finally found it. «The Last Boat Rod You Will Ever Need».
