The guiding ethos of Bruce Lee’s Jeet Kune Do is to «Absorb what is useful, discard what is not, and add what is uniquely your own.» To this end, along with our focus on JKD Concepts, we blend in instruction in Kali, Muay Thai Kickboxing, Brazilian JiuJitsu, Krav Maga, and Kajukenbo.
Our primary focus is on practical self-defense instruction with a commitment to small class sizes and lots of personal attention.

Established in 2014.
The Wik Academy of Martial Arts was opened in 2014 by Sifu Adam Wik and his wife Caroline to provide a place for people to learn practical and effective self-defense techniques in a small, personalized environment.

Business Owner
Our head instructor Sifu Adam Wik began his training in Jeet Kune Do in 1998. In addition to training with world-renowned JKD instructors Guro Dan Inosanto and Sifu Larry Hartsell, Adam also sought out some of the best instruction he could find in other arts. Over the years he’s been lucky enough to train with greats such as Ajarn Chai Sirisute, Erik Paulson, David Amiccuci, Professor Salem Assli, Jean-Jacques Machado, and Darren Levine.
