My family decided to be spontaneous and plan a short getaway to OOB and with short notice in August, our choices were limited. We got two rooms because our group had 2 adults and 4 kids(kids range in age from 12 to 16)…not sure this would be a great choice for someone with small kids. This is what I think, it’s a basic place to stay, not overly comfortable or clean. The location is fantastic as its right across the street from the beach, a short walk to the pier and has a great café across the street(the guy that works the morning bagel area is super friendly and fun to chat with). I would say that this is one step above camping(tent, not RV haha). The rooms are very tight, I mean, turn sideways to pass the table on the way to the bathroom… maybe they have too much furniture crammed in there. The beds are uncomfortably soft, the lighting is bad, the sheets don’t fit so they kept popping off, the drawers don’t pull in and out, there is no pool and the rooms that have carpet, well… the carpet is questionable and should be pulled up. The front desk guy was nice, the TV works, it’s a good location, plenty of parking and free ice.

Stayed here July 11 – 14. The inn was a lil dead as far as others partying and hanging out. Thats prolly due to the economy. I recommend the second level. That way you can spend alot of time watching people come and go to the beach area. Its right across the street from the reopened soho bar. Plenty of parking and no noise from the rides. The room was fine, room service was a tad slow but we eventually got our new towels every day. Theres a security guy on duty. Dont worry he lets yah party. Everything is in walking distance. We are deff. going back.
