We started going to this pharmacy when our small, locally owned drug store shut down. I was nervous at first because you shouldn’t expect a HUGE corporation like CVS to give you the small town feeling you get with a mom and pop store. Man was I wrong. The staff at the pharmacy are warm and welcoming and greet many by name as they walk up to the counter. I am very pleased with the service.

I visited this pharmacy today to pick up a prescription for my 12 year old. My pediatrician had put it through electronically so when I arrived I explained to Anna, the pharmacist on duty, that I didn’t have a written script. She was noticeably annoyed. She checked the system and told me there was nothing there for me or my son, so I called my pediatrician and she asked to speak to the pharmacist. Anna refused to take my phone — which is fine, I understand that there must be a policy against that. It was her rudeness throughout the entire encounter that prompted me to write this review. I’m fairly certain she didn’t even look at me the entire time I was there. In any case, my pediatrician called from her office and spoke to Anna. Then, as I stood to the side of the drop off counter with my three children, ages 12, 2, and 7 months, she instructed me to «move to the other side» — and this was AFTER I had to ask HER if all was well with the input of the prescription. Why would I move to the pickup line if I wasn’t told that the prescription had been put through? I will never understand why someone would treat someone rudely for no reason, especially someone who has their hands full with young children and an older child who is ill. I was nothing but friendly throughout the visit and Anna behaved as though I had done something to set her off. The only reason I gave this pharmacy 2 stars instead of 1 was because the gentleman who rang up my prescription, Alex, was very nice and helpful.
