Located in the heart of Old Forge, NY, We are a soap, candle and specialty gift shop that specializes in all-​natural soaps, candles, and bath and body products. We are FAMOUS for our homemade organic body and facial scrubs. We also have unique gift items, jewelry, apparel, and spiritual items. Gift Basket Service is also available!

History

Established in 2009.

As women, we rarely take the time to pamper ourselves. We take care of everyone and everything and as a result, we have a lot of stress in our lives. This business began with that idea in mind. I always ask my customers, «When was the last time you lit a candle, poured a glass of wine and took a long, hot bath and just relaxed?»

Most women I ask say, «Never» or «years». Thus, «Just Makes Scents» was formed to help women find something that they can indulge in and say, «This is just for me».

I began in 2006 becoming an independant distributor of our plant and vegetable based candles and expanded the business in 2009 into a full– fledged gift shop specializing in organic, all natural products and unique gifts. We strive to have items in the shop designated with sensitive skin needs in mind.
