Anabella Mobile Pet Spa

If I could give this guy a Negative star rating I would. Wow! I have to say you have to watch everyone! Today I scheduled a Anabella mobile pet groomer to take care of my dogs. This is the 3^rd time using this guy and the final product of the grooming the last two times was just okay. However today, I could hear my dog Ninja a 10lb. Maltipoo from the truck Unilocaling and screaming at the top of his lungs as if he was being beaten. So I went outside to investigate. While peering through the window of his van I could see he was very rough, dragging the dog around by its beard hair, while blow drying his ears with a super loud blow dryer blowing the air directly into its ear. Can you imagine what that must be like to a dog — what the hell. Not even encouraging or assuring «it’s okay buddy» or a break from the volume, just pure force.
When I stood there he just said to me, you gonna stand there and watch. I said I would like to see him and how he reacts trying to calm him down to help the man. He was choking from the collar he had attached to his neck. This guy was being abusive to say the least. I said ‘Okay it is time, give him to me, unplug from my electric and get the hell out of here. Don’t worry you will not be getting a call back and I will tell everyone how I feel. Let alone I was paying this guy $ 150 for both of my dogs he should have given them massages for that price.
My review of Anabella mobile groomers in Bethpage is Negative 5 stars and proceed with extreme caution, he is dangerous, mean, abusive to the animals and rude, a terrible business person and has an extreme attitude. Do not use this company if you care about your pets. I would give him a negative ratings times five. I also read the reviews on him on Unilocal and most of them corroborate with what I am saying and even worse from him threatening people and being borderline harassing.
I am a business person and believe in customer service, but I also believe when dealing with pets, that do not speak, you have to be diligent not to allow this to happen anymore. We need to watch out, for people like him.

NAT is the best. Can’t say enough about his easy going manner with our dogs, and his professional grooming skills. Have recommended him to anyone who asks. So happy I found him, after using groomers who would change from appt. to appt. Business shut down with no warning, a nightmare wondering who or when someone would show up. While everyone is entitled to their opinion, it’s personalities that could be the problem, not the service. Don’t see any complaints from regular customers of Anabella.

Talk about unprofessional… I made an appointment to have my morkie groomed for a Friday afternoon. After waiting 5, 10, 30 minutes, I gave up on this groomer. I called and got no answer. The groomer himself didn’t even have the decency to call and let know what was going on… he was a NO SHOW! Do yourself a favor and do not get involved with flaky, unreliable people like this one! First & Last time calling him to groom my precious pup!

Our appointment was for 4:30 pm. I used vacation time to come home early for the appointment, and had both cats ready to go in their crates for the appointment (any cat owner knows this is hard enough with only one cat let alone two). At 4:40 when they hadn’t arrived we called and were told our appointment was cancelled and they had «attempted to leave a voicemail but were unable» neither myself nor my husband have any missed calls and our voicemail is fully functional. I am extremely disappointed as I have wasted not only my own vacation time but have left my cats confined for 30 minutes for no reason. Needless to say I will not be calling back to reschedule. Horrible first impression.

First of all I should be free to give a truthful review of MY EXPERIENCE with your business. So why then did this groomer contact my husband 3 times begging him to have me take down my review? The last time (and I have the phone records to prove it) you actually threatened me that if I didn’t you would make me look foolish and I would be sorry. That speaks volumes to my point of your unprofessionalism! Then your rambling on about where I live? If you didn’t want to travel to my town then don’t book the appointment!!! As far as the «generator» goes however it runs you definitely plugged something into my electrical outlet and both my daughter and husband were witness to that. As for the flea spray you are flat out lying. You know darn well that you forgot to bring yours for whatever reason and asked to borrow mine in order to continue with my daughters dog. Again I have witnesses to this. So once again I believe, in my opinion, that this groomer was unprofessional and the phone calls my husband received plus the response to my review proves my point even more. Please do not contact us again!

Seriously the best experience! We have a two year old pure bred Siberian cat that had never been washed or groomed. And being the weather is turning warmer he was shedding like mad! He also started to get a little bit of matting which we were cutting out with kitchen scissors. We decided we should have him groomed and get him a haircut. We were really really nervous about this and had no idea how this would be! I looked online for a mobile cat groomer and Anabella came up. I trusted the one persons good review and hoped for the best! I can’t even tell you how they exceeded my expectations! Nat came to groom truffles and when I asked if I could come in the van with him he said ok. He was sooo good with our cat I couldn’t believe it! He even rubbed noses and kissed him as he was brushing out his undercoat! He was so kind and patient with my nerves (which were more than the cats) and he gave him an amazing shampoo and cut! I highly recommend them and especially Nat! If you have a cat that needs grooming you must call them!

While getting groomed in our driveway, our indoor cat somehow got loose and climbed out of the groomer van’s open front window and ran off. While the groomer did dedicate a few hours to help search for the cat (fruitlessly I might add), there was no follow up in the form of phone calls or letters in the ensuing weeks. If safety and courtesy are a priority, I would look elsewhere. The facts speak for themselves.

I have no idea why my groomer got such a horrible review. I had the complete opposite experience. I got him through a recommendation from a friend of mine who treats her dog like the queen of her home. This dog doesn’t eat people food and goes everywhere with this woman and sleeps beside her every night. So I knew a recommendation from her would be golden. And she was so right. This groomer cares about his job and the animals he’s working with. I was worried with the first grooming so I stay outside near the truck where he couldn’t see me and I never heard a peep out of the dog. What I did hear was him talking sweetly to her. She came out of there happy as a lamb and looking great. He even gave her a dog treat on her way out! So don’t believe a bad review from someone who might have ulterior motives for writing a bad review. This groomer is great and I would highly recommend him.
