My mother’s Coach purse was stolen recently when we weren’t home. There are no ways to make a schedule if you need maintenance work in your apartment. That means they can access your apt even when you are not around. Can you really trust a stranger with your personal belongings? The only people who has access to our apt are the employees that works there with keys. We had maintenance work done twice recently, and there were no record of it in the computer when they are suppose to log it every time. How are we suppose to find out who went in our apt? That seems very fishy why wouldn’t they keep track. It’s pretty obvious that they don’t want to be responsible if something happens. The manager didn’t believe us even though we stated the fact that we don’t have any friend, or invite anyone to go to our apt since we are not from Kansas, and all we do is work all day since we owned a business. We have money, and we are not cheap. There are no reasons why we need to lie. Matter of fact, rents are always paid before due date. What upsets me the most is that the Manger kept on defending the maintenance team. She made excuses by saying the maintenance guys has been with them for a long time they will never steal anything, and no one has ever complained. Even if there are complains, you’ll never know, because they can lie to save faces. If you are wondering if you should move in, DON’T. The quality of the apt building itself is garbage. All counter tops, sink, toilet, and walls uses cheap paint without a layer of top coat. It can be scratched easily without any effort. If they are to put more money, and effort into remodeling, there would be less damages. When you move out, they are going to hunt you down down for repairs which cost you to loose your security deposit. Overall, this apartment is full of shady people, and customer service is beyond terrible.

When I first moved in, I loved Wyncroft. Great location with many nearby stores and restaurants, many in walking distance. Free carport with apartment. Friendly staff. A few years ago something changed. Here are just a few reasons why I moved and would never recommend Wyncroft… After having water shoot across my living room while the building was being pressure washed and my door was shut, I asked for the weather stripping to be replaced. One of the maintenance men came and argued that it did not need to be replaced. Even after explaining the issue with water shooting across the living room and showing him the sunlight coming through with the door closed, he still insisted it didn’t need changed. He did change the weather stripping while commenting about how it wasn’t needed and that the door may stick. The same maintenance man was doing some work on the air conditioning upstairs. Later that day I went out to water my flowers and a piece from the air conditioner was in one of my flower pots, on top of flowers. I called to complain about him putting the part on top of my flowers, potentially destroying them. The office person I spoke with could not comprehend why I was made and kept defending that he probably just forgot it. If it would have been forgotten and sitting on my railing, no issue at all. Destroy my stuff is an issue, she never got it and said she would send him to get it. The last lease I signed included a new ceiling fan if signed by a certain date. Done. No new ceiling fan. After three calls about it(fan is on order, maintenance has been busy, etc.) I gave up on getting the new ceiling fan I was suppose to get. I also asked them when calling the first time to find out when I could expect the ceiling fan, if the old one could be put into the bedroom, no. It was in great shape, didn’t really even need replaced, but no, couldn’t go in the bedroom. After living there for a over 4 years, they decided to raise my rent almost 20% one year. That isn’t a typo, almost 20%!!! The reason stated was that they were doing improvements to the apartments. One of the employees told me that all of the apartments were getting new kitchen cabinets. Although not happy with the huge rent increase, but at the time having no choice but to stay, I figured the new cabinets were worth the increase. The only enhancement I saw anywhere near my apartment was new mulch around the bushes and trees which within a month had blown away. No new cabinets. The only recipients of the new cabinets were the townhouses. You are welcome townhouse residents. I do have to thank Wyncroft for the unreasonable rent increase as it pushed me to buy a house with at least 4 times the room and a lower payment compared to my rent. If you are looking at Wyncroft and plan to stay over a year, loyalty, rent always paid early, being a good neighbor and resident, etc. means absolutely nothing. The overall appearance of the complex has been on the decline. Many items are in need of maintenance and repairs. Stray cats are taking over. Noise levels and partying neighbors increasing. You can do much better for the price.
