Weston R. Moore

Three years ago when I lived in Olathe, I had gone into debt trying to help my family. I didn’t know what to do and was very Intimidated with the whole bankruptcy process. I found Mr. Moore’s office nearby. It is a small office, but I felt comfortable with him and his secretary right away. I submitted all my paperwork and then waited for my court date. Afterwards, when a creditor would try calling me, Mr. Moore was available to take my call and give me advice, so he didn’t just fall off the face of the earth after my court date. They always answered my questions and eased my concerns. An overall good experience.

My dealings with lawyers are few and far between. And after working with Weston Moore, I hope it stays that way. I found Mr. Moore on a legal web site, and based on the case testimonials there I thought he’d help me with my custody issue. I met him in person, put down my deposit, and looked forward to the timely resolution of my case.
Things didn’t quite work out that way. Nine months after I first contacted Mr. Moore, I finally reached an agreement with my former husband. But it had absolutely nothing to do with my legal representation.
For the $ 1500 or so I paid him, Mr. Moore made excuses, created delays, backtracked and basically blew me off. When I eventually gave up and fired him, he urged me to change my mind or let him speak to a more reasonable member of my household. Ironically, if I’d consulted someone reasonable sooner, I probably would have saved time, several hundred dollars and some faith in the legal profession.
