Specialties
Johnson County’s «We Can» Handyman
Highly Skilled, Fair Prices, Honest Work
I am a Johnson county licensed contractor. I have completed various concrete practice courses and I am a Kansas certified home inspector. I started as a carpenter in 1976 and for the next 36 years I successfully worked as a new home contractor, remodeling contractor, and decorative concrete artist. I am skilled in any handyman needs you are looking for and I would love to lend you a hand.
History
Established in 1981.
I established Stamper Construction in July of 1981 and proceeded to build house after house for many years. I was asked to start doing remodels and we started doing them via word of mouth as our reputation grew for our quality work and fare pricing. Next step in our progression was to start building spec houses and selling them. We did this for awhile but you need deep pockets to be a builder so we went back to doing what we did best and that was building structures from decks to basements to whole houses again. 7 years ago I decided to start doing decorative concrete and that has really brought out my artistic side that I didn’t realize I even had, who new? I decided to take all my years of knowledge and experience and combine it all into one business, We Can Handyman was born and I thoroughly enjoy helping people with their home issues. I carriy almost every tool needed so I can take care of my customers then and there without them losing much work or waiting time.
Meet the Business Owner
Kip S.
Business Owner
I have lived in Kansas since I was 5 years old. I went to school at SH High School and some school at the Univercity of Kansas. I also have completed two years of culinary school at JCCC which was really fun. I am married to my high school sweetheart. We have 5 kids and 5 grandkids. Our youngest daughter is 16 and she was adopted from China 5 years ago. I have been across the country rerfining my art of decorative concrete for the past 7 years and I have been refining the art of building since 1976. I am active in my church, i’ve been a scoutmaster, baseball coach, church board of directors member, Freemason, and an honorary warrior in the tribe of Mic-O-Say. I enjoy playing with my grandkids and watching my daughter learn to be an American teenager,? I’m not sure about that one. I like to help others and that shows in my business ethic. I usually do somethings for free at peoples houses just because I can.
