History
Established in 2007.
What started as a homeschool project between mother and daughters, soon became a full grown business. We rented a kitchen, started baking for a local farmer’s market, booked our first wedding, delivered to our first coffee shop, and began teaching baking classes to young girls… before we knew it, our little bakery had grown up! We thank you for making our family a part of yours.

Sonya Harshbarger is the creative force behind Sugar Babies Bakery, as well as a devoted wife and loving mother of three young girls.
I have often described her as having the stick-to-itiveness of an idealist and the soul of an artisan. She is, quite simply, uncompromising in her pursuit of excellence, which starts with the choice of ingredients and ends with the final presentation.
In this age of over-the-top «theme cakes,» she and her amazing team of bakers prefer the timeless beauty of the classic desserts, made with exacting standards, and presented in the joy of fellowship to those you love.
