Business Owner

Royal Fence & Design, LLC began in 2004 by Jay Pyle. Jay grew up in Johnson County, graduating from Gardner Edgerton in 1997. He followed his baseball career through college and graduated in Physical Education with an emphasis in Recreation Administration.

Jay worked part-​time for a neighbor, JR, who had a fence business. After graduating college, Jay started to sub-​contract through JR. Eventually, he asked his mother for a small loan where Jay was able to buy a truck and enough tools to start building fences for his own business.

Today, Jay is quickly and professionally building the best fences in Kansas City. Jay says his favorite part of the job is getting to go somewhere different each day. He enjoys the challenge of new places and meeting new people. «I like to think I’m very trustworthy. I’m easy to get along with and I can adapt to any situation. I do what I say I’m going to do; I show up on time, I do a good job. It’s not about the contract; it’s about making people happy.»
