Wonderful selection of fabrics. Too bad the warmth of the fabric doesn’t extend to the staff. I get friendlier service when the owner isn’t present. I get great help from the owner with color selection. She seems very stressed when relating to the customer. There is no friendly chatter.

I signed up for two quilting classes to be held in mid-February. I signed up weeks in advance, and paid $ 60. The day before the class was to be held, they called and canceled. They rescheduled for the following week, which did not work for me as I had other plans scheduled. I sent them an email to return my $ 60 payment. One month later, I am still waiting. A friend also asked for a refund for the canceled classes, and was told they would be rescheduled«in the summer». Sorry, I have no idea if «in the summer» works with my schedule. I want my money returned since the service I paid for was not provided. I have been considering a long arm purchase. I will NOT be buying it here. Such a shame to lose $ 20,000 in business over a $ 60 class fee.

Quilters Haven is as good as it gets! I have been shopping here for more than 6 years. Tom and Debbie, the owners are amazing. They take the time to really get to know their customers, eventually by name. When I first found Quilters Haven it was to repair my sewing machine. When it could no longer be fixed, Tom, knowing my situation, knew I couldn’t afford a brand new machine right then set me up with a used machine just until I could afford a new one. He wasn’t focused on a sale, he cared about me and my situation. They are amazing! This is a great place for mothers with little ones to take their kids! In fact Tom and Debbie actually look forward to seeing my little ones and enjoy talking with them while I shop. Their fabric selection is great!!! Lots of Riley Blake, Michael Miller and Kaufman fabrics. Their pricing is right on par with market retail pricing. As far as the woman who thinks they are too expensive… the price of cotton has sky rocketed, which forces manufactures to raise their prices. Then they pass it on to their retailers who then have to charge us more. If you want to blame someone, blame Obama! Not Tom and Debbie, a small business owner just trying to make it in today’s tough economy. As far as the service from the rest of their staff, they are as quality as they come! Always willing to lend an extra hand or helpful advice! They cut accurately every single time I’ve been there. I don’t have to go home and stretch the fabric to make sure I got every single useable inch of fabric. Oh and to the statement earlier about product being pinned down. The only things they have pinned down to the walls is their beautiful quilts! I’m sure if you want a closer look, Tom would be more than willing to get you a step stool and may even take a pin out of the corner so you can see the back of it of need be. Quilters Haven offers amazing customer service as well as quality product. They are the best of the best!!! If you want premium quality fabric, Quilters Haven is the place for you.

I’ve spent a LOT of money in this shop — they have a great selection of fabrics; however, customer service-wise, not great. In fact, the last time I was in, down right rude. So, I’ll drive a little further and go to ANY other shop, order online, whatever, but I will never shop there again.
