I just wanted to buy one bark control device, but it took forever to find someone with keys to unlock the glass case. The price said it was $ 98, but when I got up to the register rang up at $ 109. They wouldn’t give me the sale price without signing up for the precious rewards membership. Misleading pricing is not good business practice. When will Petco learn that customers just want to buy products without signing up for memberships that only lead to email blasts every four hours?

We always have good customer service at this location. The staff seem friendly and willing to help you find whatever you need and I never feel rushed when asking my questions. Today, Kyle did a wonderful job of helping me find a stuffed animal chew toy that my persistent chewer should not destroy within the week!

This is the first time I’ve ever had my pup groomed and it was a fabulous experience. She came back happy & looked great! I don’t know why I waited 5 years to groom her. The cost seemed a little high at first, but it was worth every dollar for the extra coat blow out they added to lift her fur from her skin for the summer. I will be back soon!

I have been using the Olathe petco grooming salon for a year now and I take my mini schnauzer every 6 to 8 weeks. They do exactly what they say they’ll do. They are very pleasant and my pooch is not traumatized when I pick her up and she always looks sharp!

So I love the store for the things they have and I like their rewards program better. But the people are rude. They don’t even seem to like animals. They have the food I like and the rewards pay off. I’ll still come here until someone is rude enough to make me leave.

This is generally my go to for pet products.
They have a nice selection of products to appease most pet owners. They also sell some pets. (no dogs or cats) They offer obedience classes for dogs and have grooming services.
The pug likes their furry squeaky toy selection and the dog treat bar.
If you need assistance it often means hunting someone down, but once you do find someone they are great at helping with what you need.

I brought my shiba inu, Pocky, in to get his nails trimmed. I had brought him to Petsmart in Olathe before, but the last couple times the groomer told me the Pocky «was not a fan of getting his nails trimmed» with a snotty face which made me feel like my dog was bad. The associate made us feel welcomed the moment we walked in. I wish I could remember her name! She was great! I could hear Pocky’s shiba screams while getting his nails trimmed, but he looked fine. He tends to be a bit dramatic anyways. When I picked him up she assured me he was fine and told me that shibas tend to do that. It made me feel at ease. I will probably bring him here from now on.

We have used the vet services at this location to save on the cost of shots and the grooming salon. We are very happy with the store and what they offer. I am very happy with the grooming too. My little girl does not really enjoy us cleaning the little stains under her eyes but the groomer did a wonderful job getting this done for us. They were Al’s able to get us in quickly where other groomer were 2 weeks out and after I see the results can’t figure out why they are booked ease this store does a better job. They were so friendly and helpful. My little girl came home looking like a little princess with bows and all.

One of the nicest Petco stores I have been in… squeaky clean just like the neighborhood.
They had pet Halloween costumes that cost more then some tops I have purchased. No matter, there were still owners snatching them up.
Found a huge selection of cat treats and that was my mission.

This is a Clean store and i love going in. They staff is always willing to help me out with any problems. The grooming is really good as well. Lori is a lovely women in the grooming who can help you out if you need your dog taken care of. I feel like a dork writing about a pet store buts its just that good.
