This is the type of store that I could get into a lot of trouble with and make my kitchen fall in love with me! They have everything you can possibly imagine and everything you never even considered needing, but now do! Besides kitchen items they have the entire set up for the bath and bedding, towels, etc. Getting help is often a task and everything is really packed into the store so sometimes you have to hunt or navigate product and people to get to what you need. The best thing about this store is it is perfect for gift giving. I don’t think there is anyone on your gift list that you can not find something for them here!

I wanted to update my review to take in to account a recent experience using the bridal registry. My fiancé and I have a lot of quality stuff — a full Wusthof knife set, Le Creuset cookware, Crate & Barrel plates and flatware. Good, quality stuff that matches. We really just wanted to go in, grab the gun, and register for some stuff we didn’t have. Apparently, it’s not that easy. 2.5 hours later, we finally left the place. We had not completely finished what we came to register for, but we were so irritated and exhausted being in the store for more than twice as long as we planned that we just wanted to get out and get on with our day. We were sat down in a little side room and made to look through endless pages of china that we didn’t want, glassware that we didn’t want, etc. We kept hinting that we were happy with what we wanted, but the sales associate wouldn’t buy it — we HAD to register for this fancy, expensive china. Nevermind that prices aren’t listed so you have no idea how much this stuff costs until you get the printout or check online. Not getting the hint, we finally had to forcefully, and somewhat rudely(which is not how we operate normally), say«we don’t want any of this» before they would let us go out to the main floor with the gun. Even then, we were followed and pointed to what we should register for, not necessarily what we wanted to register for. All in all, the time spent here was not fun, and my fiancé and I both left angry at what should have been a fun and enjoyable experience. I understand they are a for-profit company, but they seemed to care little about what we actually wanted… they only wanted to make sure we went after the stuff that would bring the company the most money, even if it was lower quality than what we explained we had at home. We also registered at Crate & Barrel where the experience was delightful and highly recommended(I’ll update my Crate & Barrel review next to reflect this). BB&B could learn from them. Add to this the fact that Homegoods, just down the street, is superior in terms of general around-the-house type stuff, and I have little need or desire to return to this or any BB&B.

This is my favorite BB&B. First of all they are not picky about the coupons. They will take them even if there are expired. The staff is always friendly and lots of people to help you. One of my favorite places to buy wedding gifts. Love their towels and wine glasses and table settings and kitchen items. Great selection of just about anything you need. If they are out they will call around for you or order an item in and hold it for you. The wedding registry is awesome. One of the easiest ones to use. This one is usually pretty easy to get in and out off. Parking can kind of be a hassle because it is in a strip mall with Target, ½ Price Books, Office Max, etc.

Dear BBB, please stop killing the tree’s and just mark all your stuff down 20%. Those coupons are beyond annoying and they are giant… who can even carry them around??? How about this? Give us one of those plastic frequent customer cards and add a coupon to it once a month? I love your store for sheets, kitchen accessories and toiletries, but get with 2011!

I’ve been furnishing a new apartment and, among other things, needed cookware. BB&B has a huge selection of cookware, pots and pan, bakeware, and kitchen gadgets galore, especially the Oxo brand ergonomic ones, at very competitive prices. This location is in Olathe’s new shopping heaven, south of 119th St. near Blackbob and close to I-35. If you can’t find what you’re looking for here, there’s a huge SuperTarget just a few doors down, and a Marshall’s Home Goods store just on the east side of Blackbob, so you’re bound to come away with something from your trip here! One thing I’ve got my eye on is BB&B’s memory foam mattress toppers. For about $ 129 you can get a two-inch thick mattress topper, which is actually about as much memory foam as you’ll get on one of the much-more-expensive Tempurpedic mattresses! This just fits right on top of your existing mattress, for much less money! I haven’t decided for sure, but I’m very tempted.. . All in all a great place, especially if you’re furnishing a new place or re-doing an old one!

I suppose I am surrendering my «man card» by raving about this place, but here goes… If I am ever in need of a wedding, anniversary, or birthday gift. I could literally walk in here blindfolded, grab the first item I touch, take said item to the cash register, pay for it, gift wrap it, deliver to recipient, and have complete confidence that whatever the hell I just purchased for him/her is going to blow them away. B, B, & B also has possibly the most lenient return policy I’ve ever experienced in my lifetime. Our $ 300 Krups espresso maker we graciously received as a wedding gift«k“rapped out on us after two years of ownership. These cats took it back no questions asked and gave us full store credit. I’m docking one star for poor timing on their 20% off direct mail coupons. Whenever I am actively looking for one in the mail, I never get one. Whenever I don’t need any, I get 10 in one week. Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to go shread my lats, rebuild a carburetor, and watch some SportsCenter.
