Dr. Creed Cardon would call Idaho his home though he grew up living in Mexico, Costa Rica, and Argentina, leading to his fluency in Spanish. He did his undergraduate studies at BYU-​Idaho and earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery with a minor in Dental Aesthetics at the State University of New York-​Buffalo School of Dental Medicine.

Dr. Cardon received various scholarships and awards, ranging from implantology to his service on the board of admission. His favorite part of dental school was the service trips he participated in Peru, Tonga, Dominican Republic, and the Appalachia parts of Tennessee.
