I have been teaching music lessons for the last 15 years in the OKC metro. I have a motto «I take people from I can’t to I can». I help people take their music aspirations from practicing at home, to doing gigs in public, if that is their goal. I teach students beginning to advanced levels for several different instruments: Guitar, bass, Vocals, Harmonica and Drums. I teach several forms of fingerstyle blues and folk techniques, learned at the knees of Blues greats like Lightning Hopkins, Mance Lipscomb and Jesse Fuller. I teach music theory if desired. Each students gets their own curriculum personally developed by me.

History

Established in 1999.

I have been a lifelong long musician. I started playing professionally at age 16. I was born into a musical family. My Mother, Barbara Dane is a world reknowned Jazz singer and my Father Rolf Cahn was a guitar teacher. Rolf’s most famous students were Bob Dylan, Joan Baez and Jim Kweskin. I have vocal students that are both professional and amateur award winners, that have worked with me to improve their natural talent. I host an open mike on Sunday nights at JJ’s Alley in OKC’s Bricktown, where my students can perform when they are ready for the public! I also enjoy working with Special Needs students and adapting my curriculum to their abilities.
