This is a sit down type of burger joint and if you grew up in the 80’s it feels like you stepped back into your teenaged bedroom minus the clothes on the floor. Great burger though, in an attempt to try something new I ordered it with peanut butter. Yes, peanut butter. Not sure I’m a fan but I do like to mix it up a bit and venture into new gastronomic territory. The burger was great though a bit ruined by the peanut butter. At least I gave it a go. Had the fried green beans and they were great.

Food: 5⁄5 Service: 5⁄5 Cleanliness: 4⁄5 Décor & Style: 3⁄5 The Fatty and the Bleu are amazing, I am surprised this place isn’t rated any higher. Great selection of craft beer(they have Left Hand and Coop!) and excellent service. The décor is very 70’s hippish and not my taste but I come here for the food so it doesn’t matter!

Great and very unique burgers! The«adult shakes» are delicious. Our server was awesome and very attentive to our group of 9. She was able to explain items on the menu and make recommendations. Overall just a great experience

Most OKC residents know S&B is rad, local, has tasty brews and food, and a cool vibe/good service. Buttt if you don’t follow/occasionally try their burgers/fries of the month… you gotta! Example: February. The Del Rey. She’s the Fatty’s hot-ass cousin. Beef patty on a brioche bun with house habanero-onion relish, ghost pepper cheese, and orange-chipotle ketchup. The burger is awesome! Nice subtle, slow burn heat. Pairs well with beer, as everything does. If you’ve never tried S&B, eat local and go try one of the metro locations. If you have, follow them on social media and lookout for their monthly creations. If you’re an out of towner try some local OKC stylings! You won’t regret it.

My husband and I love coming here! Service is always fast and friendly even if they drop your food. they take care of you from the moment you walk to the moment you leave! This is by far my all time favorite burger joint in the metro. I always build my own burger but the Thunder burger is awesome too!!! Plus we love watching the music videos. Had their tacos on taco Thursdays! They’re just as good as the burgers!!! Plus we took my sister here for dinner and she loved it! !! I changed from 4 stars to 5. This is hands down my top favorite burger place in the metro!

I’d heard about this place from my co-worker(who always raves about them) so when my husband and I were out and about and happened to see one, we decided to try it. The food was really good. I can’t eat large quantities so I loved that they offered the slider, which was the perfect size for my small appetite. I also liked that we were able to build our own burger. The service was exceptional. The only reason for not giving them 5 stars is that they were a little more pricey than what I would expect from a burger joint. However, this won’t stop me from going there again.

I have been to many different S&B’s around the OKC area, and this is by far the worst one I have ever been to. The staff seems rushed, and is usually rude. Also… I received MAJOR food poisoning from this place, I almost had to go to the emergency room. I had the turkey ranch burger, and a couple of hours later I couldn’t stop throwing up. Every time I thought about the turkey burger, I would get incredibly nauseous again. Now I can’t never have a turkey burger again from anywhere without thinking about this one that made me sick! A couple of weeks after I got food poisoning, a group of people at my work went to this S&B and all got sick too! I highly suggest not going to this one. I’ve been to the S&B near Brick town a dozen times and never got sick. This place is horrible.

I’m in town for business and staying at the HIE on S. Walker. Decided to eat at this place because of Unilocal’s rave reviews. I was not disappointed at all. The wait staff was very friendly and the place was clean. To top it off, the FIRE Burger was great. Wow. When you go 3 for 3, you know it will be around for a while. They had something I’ve never seen before… fried pepper jack cheese cubes. I was skeptical at first, but DAMN those things were good. They were served with honey mustard to dip them in. I prefer ranch(and will get next time… tomorrow!), but the honey mustard was good and is something I’m not used eating. Very good place and I highly recommend it!

The food was really good. Can’t complain. But the service was off. I sat at the bar. The bar staff was more concerned with their after work plans than providing service. I had to remind the bar tender of my order and service in general was slow. I had a burger and chili fries and they were excellant. I just hate having to run down a bartender for service.

I think my husband and I have a slight obsession with this place. It is just so darn good! S&B’s is a sit-down restaurant with a hard rock like atmosphere. We really enjoy the loud music and music videos playing on the wall. There are a lot of fun quotes on the walls too. Just a creative environment to be in. The appetizers: We have had the fried pickles, and the fried onions. We enjoyed both, but the sauces were definitely a little different. The burgers: The best part for us, is that they will sub a chicken breast, turkey patty, or vegetarian patty on any burger. After trying quite a few of the burgers, my favorite is The Frenchman. If mushrooms aren’t your thing, you can’t even taste them :) My husbands favorite, is The Theta. which kind of looks like a chicken parm. 3rd runner up? Would have to be The King. Peanut Butter on a burger sounds weird… but let me tell you it belongs there :) Sides: We have tried the sweet potato fries and the P.B. & Fry. We weren’t super in love with the P.B. & Fry but their sweet potato fries are delicious! Overall, we absolutely love this place. And it’s great to order a slider and be able to try a couple different burgers. Next on the menu to try? We will have to try a milkshake and i’ll let you know how it goes!

First, I love this place and eat here often. I would give them a five except I can’t recommend them for groups larger than about 6 people. Here’s why: They have booths that seat 6 and about 6 individual tables that seat 4. I’ve gone in often with my family(6 people) and have never had a problem. But this weekend I went in with another couple of families at about 1pm(total 12 people with several hungry kids). They were«full» but they wouldn’t seat us outside or in their«special meeting room» because they were«short staffed». Fine no real big deal but that means we will be waiting until tables open up for us according to the greeters. They give us a twenty minute wait estimate. After this, a group got up. Score one table, just need two more and its looking promising. But a couple come in and seat themselves at that table and the greeters didn’t move them to the empty booth, STRIKEONE. When the greeters come back I asked where they ‘re going to seat us now and can we move outside or in the«meeting room» and get told«no, but I’ll go ask». Fine. She comes back but doesn’t tell me a yes or no, no manager comes to address me STRIKETWO and I then wait a couple of minutes(while others get seated at open booths that come in why were we not saved two booths or one with a table?)before asking if we will be seated anywhere else or how long it’ll be now that we got jacked. The greeters are unsure and don’t do anything to keep us there so we left. Wasted about 15 minutes to get nothing. From my wife estimate(ex-waitress) we still had about fifteen to twenty minutes of wait time. Obviously this is anecdotal and not indicative of their USUAL service, but its still frustrating that they would let 6 adults walk out without a word from the manager. My buddy who’d never been there might not go back because of this event. Like I said before be warned and call ahead for anything larger than six. We went into another similar burger place down the street and were seated immediately.

The food is amazing. I always order something different and it is always delicious. Same goes for the drinks. I’ve tried almost all of their Bloody Marys and every one was delicious. The beer selection is extensive and exactly what you would want at a burger place. As far as atmosphere goes, I’m a music buff, so it’s one of my favorite places in town to grab some grub and have a few beers. The service isn’t perfect, but it’s always good. If I could give this place ten stars I would.

Food was great! We all had different burgers which were the fatty, hot lips, and the bleu. They all were fantastic and cooked great. The only thing I didn’t like was paying extra for fries when the burgers were 8 – 10 dollars each. :/the beer selection was nice with a great variety! Would definitely go back.

The staff is awesome and the good is really good. The quality is higher than most burger places. Also, the burgers aren’t greasy, but juicy. I love this place.

I got the Smokin’ Okie. Good stuff! Smoked Gouda cheese, jalapeños, bacon, mayo & bbq sauce. The jalapeños were fresh, not pickled. The burger was smoky & flavorful. The fries were pretty good as well. Kinda wish I had room for a shake, they looked real good from what I saw while I was there.

A bit underwhelmed with the food and value, but the service was excellent and it has a nice atmosphere. I got the black and bleu burger(out of a variety of great sounding burger choices). They didn’t ask me how I wanted it cooked, so perhaps that has changed since prior reviewers mentioned them not getting that right. It was a bit heavy on the bleu cheese but otherwise tasted good. Not great, but good. It was about 9 bucks for the burger, and a side of plain fries(which were also good) was 2 $. The serving staff was very attentive and kept my drink topped off regularly. They have quite the assortment of options, and their speciality fries look wild. That said, I wasn’t so impressed that I would choose going here again over some other staples I’ve discovered in the city. Not a bad choice, just not the best.

My husband is very picky about his restaurants, especially burger joints! Well this is his favorite by a landslide! His favorite burger is the fatty and mine is the Frenchman! I’ve also had the tacos on taco Tuesday, they are pretty delicious as well! I love the sweet tea with an orange slice! The atmosphere is cool, several TVs with sports or music videos that usually match the music playing! It also has a fill service bar with bar games and darts! Great, fun place to hang out every day of the week but maybe best with buddies after work on the weekend!

Love to build my own burger and awesome beer selection. I build my own, 3 patties, American cheese, bacon, egg, lettuce, tomato, pickle and ketchup. Fries are not my fav, but burgers and beer make up for that. Hey S and B how about adding a burger challenge! Please!

As I was coming back from Chickasha, I figured it would be great to have a $ 5 burger from S&B. I contemplated calling it in, but ended up showing up without calling. It was 6:18 pm according to the truck clock. I walk in and decide to get a to-go order, since I don’t feel like I should be tipping for a to-go order. Well I had to order at the bar, so automatically I feel obligated to leave something. I got the Columbian burger(it has avocado, do I need to say more?). The pregnant bartender Meg greeted me but said she will be right back. A couple of minutes later after taking care of 2 – 3 other people comes back to me… I was surprised she remembered I was still standing there waiting. I place my order for the $ 5 special, without fries etc. She did get me a water while I waited. This was the longest I have ever waited for a to-go order as I think I witnessed my fingernails grow. My total was $ 5.42, so I left 58c to total it to $ 6. Don’t judge me. that is over 10% to take a to-go order. She even took the signed slip before I received my order. I finally see this guy come out and place the my meal behind the bar. Meg, the preggo bartender sees it but continues to jibber jabber with a friend who brought her some baby shower clothes. Yes they were cute t-shirts and shorts, but I digress. She then talks to one of the other workers before finally bringing the food to me. She hands it over without making eye contact and wishes me a good evening. Maybe the 58c was not sufficient? Its over 10%!!! As I drive away I take a bite out of the burger and it is luke warm at best. I understand it is not scolding hot, but its not winter where the temperature should have an impact. It is now 7:00pm on the clock, so being generous, I would say it took 30−35min to get the burger. The place was not busy when I entered, in case you were wondering. Once I got home and started to take more bites in the light and make sure I got the avocado with each bite, I was shocked to see my medium burger look pretty rare. I can understand medium rare, but this was pretty rare. and for hamburger meat? I had to take a food handlers safety back in the day and this is unacceptable for rare ground hamburger meat. I was thoroughly disgusted and felt a little sick. I am sure it was psycological. I waited for a while so it is not rush hour and called back after 9pm to talk to a manager. Ironically enough Meg answered and I asked to speak with a manager. I explained my horrible experience and at 1st I thought she didn’t care, but it turns out the manager(Demetra Smith) was very apologetic and said that if I came back in today, my meal will be on the house. She also asked for my mailing address to send me a gift card as a token of her apology and wants to make sure I come in and she can apologize face to face. It has been 3 days and I didn’t get my gift card as promised. Maybe I am impatient or maybe it is more lip service than action? Other locations have never had this issue in my opinion.
