Monster cinnamon rolls! This trip wasn’t as good as I remember this joint. Cups were dirty, staff didn’t seem to like their jobs and the food wasn’t necessarily hot(aka sent back some plates to be nuked). My man is a cinnamon roll fiend, hence our return, which didn’t disappoint. Too bad it lost the wow factor …

Yuck. Went on the recommendation of a friend because we are not from the area. It was just horrible. The breakfast food was poor, I could have made better food in a microwave at the hotel. Even the coffee tasted horrible.

My husband and I love the baked omelettes at the Runway Café. They are always perfect and absolutely delicious. Watching the airplanes is fun and the servers are usually pretty nice. The prices are decent for the food, too.

We love this place! The food is good. The service is always great. Wonderful place if you have kids too! We love to watch the planes come and go.

This is a great place to take your kids for breakfast or for something different. This café is located inside the terminal at Wiley Post Airport. The menu has something for everyone and the prices are good. The omletes are really good and very large portions. The omeletes are baked which gives them a unique taste and extra crispy bits around the edges. I had the mushroom, tomatoe, and spinach omelete. It was very good. Depending on your appetite two people could split one omelete. Most breakfast items come with a side or two. I got the hashbrowns and biscuits and gravy. The hashbrowns were good but loaded with butter. The biscuits are great and gravy is ok. The space is bright and very open. There are lots of floor to ceiling windows that are great for watching the planes take off and land. My son was absolutely enthralled by them.

The previous review genuinely surprised me because I’ve been to the Runway Café several times and never had any problems with food or service. Runway Café is a neat place to bring people visiting from out of town. Located near a runway of Wiley Post Airport(hence the restaurant name), you can watch planes take off and land as you eat. The two legendary menu items are the omelets and the cinnamon rolls– both are enormous. Omelets are baked rather than fried so they’re fluffier than you would expect and worth ordering if your diet includes eggs. The atmosphere is very«we decorated it ourselves without help from a designer» but you’re there for the airplanes and the artery-clogging down-home fare anyway, not the décor. Staff have always been adequate, in my experience. Personally, I consider this place to be one of those places locals know about and keep to themselves. Worth visiting if you’re not counting calories.
