Rockwell Rv Park & Campground

We’ve been staying at the Rockwell RV Camp for about 4 months now, it’s a pretty nice place to stay. The staff are accommodating and nice. I personally haven’t gone but since it’s been Thanksgiving & with Christmas around the corner they do offer to cook and have a little holiday party. Inside the office they offer large bags of ice to buy for 1 $ & bison meat. There are real live bison on location as well. This place is dog friendly, & cat too!!! I saw a man WALKING HIS CAT ON A LEASH the other day! I can not lie about that !!! There’s a basketball goal and large field, behind that is a large walking/​bike trail. Also, there is a Walmart about 1.5 miles up the road which is nice, as well as some fast food and good restaurants in that same vicinity. This campground offers INDOOR pool&hot tub. Two laundry rooms; which in my case, having a small baby is really lovely. The only reason I am scoring 4 – 5 stars is because the washers in the laundry rooms tend to always be a little stinky, if the staff would clean them at least once a week they would remain nice. The wifi here is TERRIBLE. Don’t come here expecting to use the internet.

Not to bad of a place everyone seems friendly only reason for 4 star is because if day in a half the water pressure was horrible other than that I’ll come back

I’ve lived here for five months and I have been extremely pleased with the experience. The park management is incredibly laid back and are very good about allowing you to live in peace and privacy. I enjoy the access to all the amenities (laundry, showers, wifi, pool and hot tub) and they are stretching their wifi capabilities to accommodate a growing customer base. They have an enormous storm shelter which makes me feel secure and there’s a bike path and fishing lake right behind us.
I’ve been happy with my experience. It’s quiet and comfortable.

Good overnight stop when traveling through. Not a resort if looking for a place to hang out and unwind. One bonus was the water was kept on despite freezing temps and we were able to fill our fresh water tank before we left to head up north. We were there on a holiday and no staff were present. Overall, I’d stop here on my way through OKC again.

Quite place. Concrete driveways. Its a basic RV park with full hook ups. Monthly price is a little high. My only complaint is that their grass has grass burs. I had to shave my poor little dog to get all of the stickers out of here fur.

This is a decent place to stay if you are working. It has a jacuzzi, pool and a laundry mat on site. The people are friendly and don’t bother you, the only bad thing is the Internet is super slow if they could offer a better speed that would be great

For the price, I was not impressed. Other than being convenient to OKC, the park has little to offer. I felt we were treated like a commodity. Rest rooms were more like a state park. My god, the don’t even provide soap.

Okay it’s a 3 but the other review a bit harsh.
They have large pull through s (nothing fancy)
They also have full hook ups with cable sap and pool.
Also laundry and clean.
$ 30 a night is cheap.
Close to downtown and the river walk.
OKC is a nice city.
Stay and enjoy. Neighborhood is not bad.
All kinds of shopping and restaurants right across the freeway.
No freeway noise.

This is a very basic RV Park. All the spaces are gravel but it does have free WIFI, cable TV and the office personnel were very helpful. This is not a destination park, more like a passing through park. It has easy access to I-​40. The spaces are fairly close together, but there aren’t many trees to interfere with internet/​cable TV satellite reception. They do have pull thru sites for big rigs. Not a very pretty park but all you need for a night.
