Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner

A native of Boston, Paul Silverstein, M.D., earned his undergraduate degree at Harvard University, graduating magna cum laude. After completing medical school at another Ivy League institution, the University of Pennsylvania, Dr. Silverstein returned to Boston where he completed a general surgery residency at the Boston City Hospital.

From 1969 to 1972, Dr. Silverstein served as a Major in the U.S. Army Medical Corp at Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio, Texas, where he treated soldiers who had been injured in the Vietnam War. In 1972, he received a Meritorious Service Medal, an award given to honor distinguished service and achievement in a non-​combat setting.

Following his military service, Dr. Silverstein decided to pursue a career in plastic and reconstructive surgery. He completed a residency in plastic surgery at the prestigious Emory University in Atlanta and has been building a reputation as a première plastic and reconstructive surgeon ever since.
