History
Established in 2013.
Dr Thomas originally started out as a comprehensive interventional pain physician and treated many people with back and leg pain. I noticed many people who complain about leg pain have vascular pain and not necessarily sciatic, neuropathic, musculoskeletal, or radicular in origin as thought by convention. Although all types of pain might coexist together, the most common type of vascular pain is associated with chronic venous insufficiency. The treatment for this used to require «vein stripping», an invasive surgical procedure requiring a several day hospitalization followed by six weeks of recovery. Now this can be treated in the office using nonsurgical procedures which take about 30 minutes to perform and require no downtime. In addition, the success rates are better than 90%, but more importantly, patients who have received treatment are the most gratified people. Having experienced such an improvement in quality of life and remarkable cosmetic outcomes in so many of my patients.
