I’ve been to a few other comic stores in the metro area and this place is by far the best. Their walls are packed with comics and graphic novels and even a few mangas. The owner is usually there hanging out and he has a lot of fun with the employees and customers. I’m in there at least once a month nerding out and I definitely recommend this place!

Very customer friendly, do a lot of interactive events for customers and their children. I’m not heavy into comics anymore, but do come by here several times a year still. Free Comic Book Day at New World is a must!

Best comics shop in town. New world has a huge selection. The biggest back issue stock around. The owner and employees are the nicest people ever. Every time I go in they are having fun, doing great things and making awesome stuff. They treat me like family and I love being there!

I came here every week and spent most of my spending money on comics.
Buck borrowed my Troma tapes and I never got them back but he also knew which comics I’d like and brought them to my attention as soon as he saw me walking in. What a pal!

Used to come here with brother since we were kids in the early 80’s. Most of the original owners have moved on, and the new owners take less of a chance on indies. I heard one of the original owners runs all-​star comics now but haven’t been there to confirm.

This is a good place to go, but it’s mostly super hero stuff. I mean yes, they have almost every single fresh comic marvel and DC are putting out– but little else. They used to have more interesting fare, but that changed a couple of years ago. Dunno what motivated that decision, but it’s sent me and the boyfriend elsewhere for comics. They’re nice guys, though. If you’re into the real mainstream stuff, you’ll have a wide variety of spankin’ new comics to choose from.
