Metro is a fantastic library system that serves a pretty ginormous swath of people from different walks of life, status, etc, Teeeeeechnically the Service Center is not open to the public; however, since it’s where the magic happens, I’m reviewing it as the center for all of the services Metropolitan Library System provides Oklahoma City.
Here is where people handle all of the processing and shipping of your beloved materials and are a huge asset to getting patrons their desired materials. The system has millions of items, the service center plays a huge part in ensuring those items get to and from all of the branches in the Metropolitan Library System. When you request something to be inter library loan’d, they’ve gotchu. When you hope and pray that a new book will come in and get processed quickly, they gotchu.
