Latimer Vision Center

Wonderful doctor and great staff! They are very personable! My family has been going here the last couple of years and Dr Latimer has done wonders for my kiddos! The girls in the office are super friendly and helpful. They have a great selection of frames and it appears they take a good selection of insurances. Their new office is beautiful too!

Dr. Latimer is a high energy doctor who is excellent with kids, but can care for people of all ages. He addresses vision related learning problems in children during their regular (annual) eye exam in a way that parents can easily understand to best help their children learn in school.
I highly recommend coming to see him, as he spent the time needed to address all of my vision needs without making me feel rushed at my appointment. I would refer any friend or family to this doctor for the best care in OKC!

Their motto is «20÷20 is more than just healthy eyesight» and «we go beyond 20÷20». I had heard good things about this place so i thought i would give this place a try, looking for a more permanent place for my eyes. I have worn contacts and glasses for 10 years now, so i have been in and out of many eye doctor’s offices. This place was by far the biggest dissapointment. First, My referral was for Dr, Latimer. And when i arrived for my appointment, i was passed on to an associate. im not sure if he was newly licensed or not. but i gave him the benefit of the doubt. sure, why not. he couldnt get my prescription corrected. second, I specifically told the tech i wanted an exam for both contacts and glasses. she put me down as only glasses. so i had to make another appt with another fee for my contacts. Third, the eye dr that did my exam kept sending me home with different presciptions… saying that my eyes were just specific, and that maybe it would take a couple days to get used to. Well they didnt, i was forced to come back within a few days to get it corrected. This happened twice. instead of making this a one time eye exam… This process took me about two weeks. The conclusion ended with the cherry on top of the cake – the eye dr stated «this is the best we can do…» «this is as good as it’s gonna get.» and «this is more than some can ask for — pretty much implying that i have to settle with my current vision.» I am a nursing student. i cant see the board. I was having difficulty driving at night. i came to get my eye sight corrected, not to have it worsened. it got so bad, that i had to wear my old contacts again. They called again, to finalize my contact prescription? HA, what a joke. No thanks.
