Great sushi! There was a wide variety of choices to chose from. I got the sushi combo(chef choice) and each type of fish was very fresh. Edamame and miso soup were great too. Inside is very pleasant with a sushi bar to watch the preparation.

As good as it gets in the midwest. Sushi can be so overpriced here and all the sushi places I’ve tried in Edmond have been sub par. This is now where we go for sushi! Service has always been friendly and the rolls have always been fresh! Fantastic and Spicy Cowboy are only a couple of our favorites!

The prior reviews said the service is sub par, but I had a wonderful experience when it comes to service. The waitress was sweet and funny. She did a really good job. I ordered three rolls and took plenty home. I had the groupon, so I ordered more food than I normally do so that I could try more. The monster roll was my favorite, but I love eel. I highly recommend it. The other two had problems sticking together. They kept wanting to fall apart. I agree with the other reviews that you should avoid the«crunchy» stuff that they add to the rolls. I think it would have been better without it. If I would have avoided the crunchy, I would have given Inaka 5 stars.

Pros: +Groupon +Delicious salad dressing +Reasonable prices +Hibachi options available Cons: –Sort of rude servers –They mix tempura flakes into their spicy yellowtail stuff. This kind of freaks me out because you can’t even tell it’s yellowtail. Are the flakes masking a lack of freshness/quality? I don’t know, but it’s not good. –The beef appetizer is the blandest appetizer on Earth. This is especially concerning when I ordered it medium rare so I’m just tasting straight up blood. Ended up blasting it with soy sauce, which I only do rarely if something needs it desperately enough. All in all, it’s a decent place, but seems like it hasn’t completely refined its menu yet. One item can be amazing while the next is awful.

This was my first visit and I was very impressed. While it does lack some atmosphere, especially being in a strip mall, don’t let that fool you, it was outstanding. We got the Alaska roll, and I could eat that everyday for the rest of my life. We also ordered the fantastic, spicy cowboy, and spicy yellow tail, all were very tasty! I would not order wine again, but that was really the only negative, I couldn’t believe there were not more patrons.

I have been a few times and the sushi has been good with reasonable prices. They even have a groupon for it to make it an even better deal. The last time I went I placed a togo order the lady who took my order was fairly rude and short with me. To make matters worse, I found plastic in my sushi. Needless to say I probably won’t be going back.

Very good! The Inaka and Fantastic rolls are great! Mini Godzilla and Alaska rolls were good too. We came in on a group on, we didn’t know this place existed. We will definitely be back!

I’ve eaten at Inaka several times. The sushi is great! Best in the city! The restaurant itself is nice and cozy and dark. Be sure to ask for Jiwon(pronounced Gee-wan) when you go in. She is an awesome waitress! She takes real good care of her customers. If you’re new to Inaka or new to eating sushi, she’ll steer you in the right direction. Go to Inaka. You won’t want to eat sushi anywhere else!

Got a groupon to this place and went here with my wife. I got a sushi and sashimi plate and she got some noodle dish that I don’t remember. The food was decent and worth it for a groupon I guess, but definitely not anything special when it comes to sushi. Not that Oklahoma City is known for their sushi places. Having had good sushi, this place was just what I was thinking it might be. I was excited when it opened, but kind of let down after going…

Loved discovering this little sushi place near my new house! Went in for dinner with my roommates and groupon in hand! Good service, great rolls, couldn’t be easier! Located in Casady square but has a lot of appeal inside, we will be back!

The waitress with the glasses has so much attitude it’s annoying. You’re not doing me a favor, because last I checked i’m paying for this. Don’t think I’ll be back for sometime. It’s like they don’t care if you’re a customer or not. There are plenty of other places to get sushi/but thanks.

I bought a lunch groupon for Inaka and came on a Monday around 1pm. The place was pretty empty, just us and a few other parties. That being said, all of our food was brought out pretty quickly. Service was just average. Our server didn’t really try to be friendly or anything extra, but she was fine. We got a lunch combo of 3 rolls — salmon & avocado, spicy crabstick, and shrimp tempura. All were pretty simple rolls, but they were good! Tasted fresh, stayed together, good presentation. I got a seaweed salad which I enjoyed — good portion for $ 4 and tasted good/fresh. We also got an appetizer of gyoza, which were just fine, nothing special. The menu is pretty extensive, with reasonable prices, so I would like to come back and try other things! They also have a pretty extensive bar and Sapporo on tap(haven’t seen that before). As others have mentioned, the inside is nicer than the outside looks, giving it a good atmosphere. All in all, I think Inaka is a good little sushi place in north OKC!

At first glance it looks great. The food looks vibrant. The atmosphere is dark and feels like a vacant night club. The sushi was very salty. I mean dry your mouth out, puff up your skin salty. We had 4 rolls. Samurai, lobster roll, spicy yellow tail and firecracker. All seemed dry, salty and not very fresh. The sake was a disappointment too. It was yellow and was rough to get down. This was a Groupon purchase and will not be trying this place any time soon.

I bought the Groupon for Inaka after hearing good things from a friend of mine who used to live nearby when it first opened up. My sister had the chicken hibachi with vegetables and fried rice, and I had the volcano roll and crazy dragon roll. I’m not a fan of scallops, and this is only the second place in town that hasn’t put scallops on their volcano roll, so I had to order it! It was strange to me that it was fried(just not your typical volcano roll), but it tasted good. The crazy dragon roll was also pretty good; both the rolls I ordered had the exact same crab topping, which was my mistake. I wish I’d ordered stuff with more variety. All in all, I liked it. It’s a bit of a drive from my house, but definitely somewhere I’d stop in if I was nearby and craving some sushi.

I actually really loved this place. I’m usually stuck going to Neko or Saii, but this is definitely my new favorite stop for sushi. The rumors are right though: the sushi is great, the service is not. The little girl that waited on my friend and myself could not have been more irritated to wait on us. It was a big turn off. It all started when we weren’t ready to order when we sat down. She was seriously pissed that after less than 30 seconds sitting we didnt know what we wanted. To top it off, my buddy asked«how’s the euphoria roll?» She responded with«good.» Just a really crappy waitress. I heard from multiple people though that its not just her, the whole staff sucks. On to the good: 1) MUCH cheaper than neko and saii. The most expensive roll is $ 13. 2) Portions of sushi are great, they don’t skimp out. 3) Great interior. Nice ambiance and decorations. Wouldn’t be bad for a date. The bad: 1) The staff. They suck, man. 2) In the middle of a shopping center. You could drive past it, so be on the lookout. Try the tuna-avocado roll. Just awesome.

The food is good and the atmosphere is nice, however they seemed to be a bit short staffed. There was only 2 people on the floor and they had 4 tables and a big top. They filled our water after they gave us out final check. Food– the spicy roll combo was filling, but we couldn’t tell the difference between the tuna, salmon, and yellowtail. The tuna sashimi was excellent. Some of the best I’ve had in OKC. I’d give it 3.5 stars if I could, but since the food and ambiance was very good, I rounded up.

They brought out our 4 rolls on the boat! Made the sushi taste even better. We went on a weeknight with another couple for my birthday. Service was fast, décor is great, location is great too. Love that the booths are semi private too, the wall is high between them. We will definitely be back! Welcome to The Village Inaka! (Only thing I hope they change is the saki bomb glass.)

I might have caught it on a bad night. But bad sushi is easy to spot. And I now fear for my body tomorrow. Décor is nice. They certainly spent good time and money putting this restaurant together. This area really needs this type of atmosphere and I wanted so badly for this to be a five star winner. But the truth is the truth. I wonder what Unilocal will do with this review when this spot closes in a month? Extra points for guessing what the name of the next restaurant here will be?
