It’s all about protecting yourself! We conduct a self defense class called Protection & Use of Force in Oklahoma City. This seminar is targeted towards individuals who own a gun for self-​defense, or are thinking about buying a gun for self-​defense. This seminar compliments a conceal and carry class. It is an excellent self defense class for women. The seminar is broken into two sections. The first section helps participants understand the importance of having a protection strategy, and helps them learn a model for building a protection strategy. The second part provides participants and opportunity to experience a video simulation of a deadly force encounter, and helps them to process how they feel emotionally and physically as it relates to their decision making processes.

Established in 2013.

This newly developed seminar is the result of three years of research and design focusing on helping the everyday citizen learn to protect themselves more effectively. Protection and self defense are critical elements to security. The «Protection» part of the seminar focuses on helping a person avoid a deadly force encounter. Self defense is reactive. Self defense is that point where a person has no protection, failed to use their protection strategies, or an unpredictable situation occurs. Most people have never been confronted with a deadly force encounter. Many people are buying a firearm to protect themselves, believing this will provide an advantage over an intruder or attacker. Unfortunately this could be creating a false sense of security. The second part of the seminar creates a video simulated deadly force encounter with a laser simulated firearm. It allows the participant to experience how they will react to a deadly force encounter.

Vic Vogel is President of EIP Educational Services, LLC and Eagle Investigations & Protection, dba. He is a Oklahoma CLEET licensed armed private investigator, and armed private security officer. Vic served in the U.S. Army Special Forces, has His Masters Degree from the University of Oklahoma, and conducts business in Oklahoma City, OK.
