The culinary staff at Platt College would like to invite you to join us for lunch and dinner at Chefs di Domani!

At Chefs di Domani, our Culinary Arts students and chef instructors provide you with fresh, made from scratch, authentic meals, and an excellent experience. It’s easy to see why our restaurant is a local favorite, as we offer our guests a wide variety of International and American cuisines, and we offer both traditional and modern dishes, which are sure to please. Top quality steak, seafood, salads, seasonal dishes, and much more.

We also host Edible Adventures, where you learn to cook with our chef instructors, have fun, and enjoy eating the results!

History

Established in 1979.

Platt College’s Culinary Arts students gain experience by preparing authentic meals under the supervision of chef instructors who have run successful restaurants of their own.

Perhaps the most rewarding part of your dining experience is knowing that you are able to shape the minds and talents of tomorrow’s chefs. As our guest, you will have the opportunity to see our students in action, as they cut, slice, and sauté in our restaurant kitchen. After your meal you will have the opportunity to rate the students on their skills, and make menu suggestions!

Chef Jacob was incredibly nice and very informative. Our student chef TJ was very friendly and talked to us quite a bit. They people were great but so was the food. Restaurant quality for half the price of an upscale place. No more expensive than going to a casual dining place. It’s jammin! (Great raspberry and rhubarb jam)

We decided to try the restaurant at Platt College Culinary School. This restaurant is the practical application side of education. We were not expecting a fine dining experience with 5 star service. We were expecting to see students applying their craft and they did it well. Our waiter is training to be a Chef and he will likely not spend much more time working as a waiter, the service was good, he was nervous but very attentive, I started with Crab cakes they were lightly breaded, lots of crab and very little filler. I prefer lump crab, these had finer crab meat. Sue had french onion soup, flavorful. Sue’s Buttermilk chicken breast was fried to a golden brown, was moist and tender, served over mashed potatoes, peppered gravy and along side green beans. i had meatballs and linguine, nicely done, tender meatballs and a fresh sauce. We did not have room for dessert but watched the show at the table next to us where the waiter flamed bananas foster. Well worth the modest prices, they are open Wed –Fri for lunch and dinner

I finally found a hidden gem! This is the Platt College Culinary Arts restaurant. First, I have to say, this was one of the best meals I have ever paid for. And it was much less expensive that comparable joints. All of the servers are chef students, so they have a lot at steak. The food and service expressed the enthusiasm of youthful enterprise and imagination.
The ambiance was very nice and the head instructor chef made a final table visit to accept kudos for her students. I would highly recommend this experience to everyone.

If you want an upscale delicious meal at reasonable price look no further. From the siracha butter to the jasmine tea the meal was fantastic. All of the little details make this a special experience but the prices make it an experience to have often.

We discovered this restaurant while attending training nearby. Three of us decided to give it a try. The staff was very professional. The host seated us promptly and the server was very attentive and helpful. I ordered the tilapia and the other 2 people had a chicken pasta dish. We all enjoyed our meals. The gentleman that ordered the blackened chicken would have liked more spice. The grilled chicken dish was reported as being perfectly flavored. The servings were plentiful, especially for lunch. Now that we have found the restaurant we will be back!

This is about my fourth time at Chefs do Domani. It’s a student restaurant much like. Hairdressers University except a bad experience won’t haunt you for more than an evening. I’ve had good experiences on every visit. The waiters are culinary students who will probably never be waiters, but it’s good for them to understand what it’s like to be in front of actual customers.
The prices are very reasonable — my $ 8 appetizer of seared scallops contains 3 large scallops in a citrus-mango sauce which
is very tasty.
The entrée is a roulade of duck wrapped in prosciutto and stuffed with duxelles mushrooms. The sides are a risotto with red peppers (a little over assertive for me) and a delicious medley of fresh green beans, carrots and Brussels sprouts. At $ 16 this is a hell of a bargain. It’s a shame that this excellent outgrowth of Platt University’s culinary program is so little known.
It’s a great bargain and a chance to experience
Dessert choices are crew brûlée, chocolate lava cake and bread pudding with a chocolate whiskey sauce I’m going with the bread pudding.
So the bread pudding is a HUGE portion and completely delicious. It’s the master stroke at the end of the experience.
So the food is awesome but the service can be a little rough since most of these kids just want to cook. Regardless, if you are anywhere near Quail Springs in northern OKC and chefs di Domani is open, you owe it to yourself to have gourmet food on a budget. Definitely worth it!

Excellent! Awesome food! These are the «Chefs of tomorrow» The food is prepared by graduates of the Platt culinary school. The en tree’s were perfectly cooked. The summer menu was being offered and I had the «Jambalaya Pasta» my buddies had the «Mediterranean chicken» We also shared a «Beef Skewer» appetizer. To top off the night we had the «Deconstructed apple pie» and «Cheese cake» Everything was delicious! Presentation/plating of the dishes were spot on, food temperature was consistent throughout the dish. The flavors were well balanced. Pasta was cooked AL dente. Go see these guys, you will not be disappointed. Beware! this is fine dining, so don’t expect huge portions.

Always incredible, a real hidden gem. They sport seasonal menus and often have a couple off menu specials. Tucked away in Platt College they are open for lunch and dinner 3 days out of the week. Prices are very reasonable for the cuisine offered. I highly recommend checking it out.
