We have proudly served the highest quality products to Oklahomans since 1910. We strive to maintain a level of customer service that can only be found in a good old fashioned mom and pop store.

We offer the finest meats in town as well as a variety of homemade specialty items such as our traditional chicken, ham and cheese spreads, deli salads, quiches, soups, smoked brisket and sausages, pies and much more! All of our specialty items are made on site and CANNOT be purchased at any other location.

We support keeping it local by selling a variety of Made-​In-​Oklahoma products for your convenience.

History

Established in 1910.

We moved from our original location (Kamp’s at 25th & N. Classen in Oklahoma City) to 7310 N. Western in Nichols Hills almost 10 years ago. We celebrated 100 years in business in 2010, and continue to offer the finest meats available, as well as all the great foods you remember such as our salads, ham loaf, etc. We have also added many other fabulous homemade goodies that can only be purchased at our store, made fresh daily by our staff such as homemade quiche, soups, pies (too many to mention) as well as daily lunch take-​out specials. There are other buildings that have the name Kamp’s on them, but there is only one place you can go to get the food and service you remember from the old location. I have worked for over 30 years in the fresh meat industry. As a third generation Kamp. I honed my skills by working side by side with my father and grandfather.

In 2001, my wife, Deanna, and I started a new chapter in our family history at 7310 N. Western, moving from the original business location at 25th & N. Classen in OKC.

This is the best place in the city to get meats. It’s a family-​run joint and it certainly has that feeling. I enjoy every visit. They have raised their prices considerable however, I’m thinking their biz is being hurt by all these new grocers coming in offering really good meats for cheaper prices. I have to admit the higher prices have made me not visit Kamps as often as I used to, however I do stand by my opinion that they have the best meats. They do offer food specials. I highly recommend their BBQ blowout on Saturdays!

I really like this place, but have a few reasons for not giving it 5 stars.
First off, I am a huge fan of the traditional butcher shop, so I do all I can to support them. I fear for the day all we have left is buy for less meat department *shiver*. Anyway, I am a huge butcher shop fan. A frequent weekend routine is: a Farmers Market and/​or Whole Paycheck for veggies, Kamps for meat, Buy for less for any canned goods/​processed foods I need.
That said, I have been to better butcher shops. So what makes a butcher shop better? Generally, selection. I find Kamps a little light on options. I also hate that they don’t carry Tri-​Tip during the winter. (If you don’t know what tri-​tip is, look it up… best meat ever… grill it medium rare, slice thin, put on garlic bread with some horseradish = heaven on a paper plate). Seriously, a butcher dictates the time of year for the cuts they take off a cow? Seems weird.
I also think they are a little high priced. Don’t get me wrong, I pay it, I call it the butcher chop tax, but it doesn’t go unnoticed.
The staff is all very friendly and helpful. Ive been caught trading recipes with the guys behind the counter on more than one occasion. They frequently have some good ideas you may not have thought of…
They also have some sandwiches and sides and whatnot, but Ive never tried any of that…

After unsuccessfully hunting around Norman for some beef ribs, this place popped into my head. It was an accidental find after trying a nearby coffee shop, so the ribs were an opportunity to finally try it out. They have prepared foods and pantry items in addition to the meat selection. The gentleman who waited on me patiently listened to my story about beef ribs and Texas BBQ as I tried to explain what I was looking for and pointed me in the right direction. The pulled pork sandwich was big enough to split between two of us for a light dinner and we had a lovely beef rib dinner the next night. Definitely worth visiting, we’ll make it part of the rounds in OKC in the future or a trip on its own if we need something special.

10 stars! It’s so worth the drive from Yukon! They put some much care and attention into their product! When you are there, make sure to get their spice blend they make right there in the store… then put it on everything, except ice cream.

Best meat market in OKC. The first class quality, price, and customer service are superb. They have everything from burger meat to rotisserie chicken. Quiches, chips, cheese, pies, and other condiments are available as well.
I’ve loved every trip I’ve made to this store and look forward to going there every time.

Amazing pulled pork sandwich with cole slaw. Genuinely delightful butchers. Traveling here or thus would be my meat shop. You can tell it’s THE spot in OKC based in the regulars streaming on this Saturday at lunch.

This place is great! A fabulous example of a small business butchery doing a great job. The staff and owner are very friendly and know their meat. The best part is their daily lunch specials. I had the North Carolina brisket special which was spot on with sweet, hickory, vinegar flavors. On the side I had western tabouli and a creative chipotle feta olive salad. I love the creative quiche selection; they were very homemade.
My only critique (why this place isn’t five stars) is because they don’t source their beef locally and only offer corn fed Angus. Corn fed Angus is great but grass fed beef can be just as delicious. Also, they need a larger lunch menu. Lots of potential.

Had a great «Weeping Willie» pulling pork sandwich while passing through OKC on a road trip. One of the best pulled pork sandwiches I’ve ever had! The sandwich was flavorful, fresh, and very generously sized. I also feel obliged to mention the friendliness and hospitality of the staff and Bill Kamp himself! I will make sure to stop by the next time I’m in town.

I’ve used Unilocal for a while, but this is my first review. I had to make one for this amazing deli. I road tripped from Cleveland to San Jose, California and then back to Kansas City. I passed by this place and when I walked in I was not disappointed. The staff are the definition of southern hospitality. Some of their loyal customers overheard us talking and bought my delicious sandwich for me! You must stop by whether it’s for their raw steaks or roasted meats. One of my favorite stops during all my travels.

I come here for the sandwiches, as I stay at a hotel and do not have access to a kitchen. That said, if I did KAMP’s would be my butcher. They have a great selection and their BBQ Brisket sandwiches on Saturdays are heavenly.

This place is heaven on earth! The owner is so nice. He was patient with me and helped me pick out some great sausages to grill. I don’t even like sausages that much (it’s a texture thing) and even I loved them. He also even threw in some extra goodies for free for me to try because it was my first time going there.
I think one special thing about this place besides the sausages is the steaks. They are from a farm in Norman. They’re aged there as well and are really high quality. They’re pricey, but the best you can get in town except at restaurants!

The star of Bill Kamp’s Meat Market is the impeccably cut meat displayed in clean cases. My superb porterhouse was cut to order with true craftsmanship. Bonus for daily takeaway specials and incidentals (no need to make an extra trip to the grocery store to get your eggs or cheese– they’ve got it!).
Trustworthy and truly a local fixture, going back generations. You’ll pay more than you pay at the grocery meat counter, but you’ll also see and taste the difference in careful labor. To boot, your dollars stay local: the double win!

Spectacular freshly made brisket sandwich. Also tasted a variety of meats made completely in house. Smoked bologna with pimento cheese spread topping and BBQ sauce was one of the most complementary mix of ingredients ever concocted. Also sampled the fresh off the smoker ham. Again, pure hickory smoked heaven. Highly recommended.
Additionally, the owner and staff are some of the most friendly, informative, and accommodating people I have come across.

I’m proud to add another 5 star review telling you what you already know about Bill Kamp’s meat market. I just moved to OKC and one of the first things I wanted to do was find a good grocery store with a quality butcher. Instead, I found a fantastic meat market that has it all: Friendly service, expert advice, and quality ingredients.
I come here for the superb ground beef (They use tasty meats on Friday!), farm-​fresh eggs, mouth-​watering grain-​fed ribeye steaks, and excellent lunch food.
Introduce yourself to the owner and he’ll treat you like family. This place is as legit as it gets.

I like to smoke. Meats that is. And after reading the great reviews of Kamp’s I decided to check them out.
I was looking to impress a lady friend with my cooking skills, and decided to do some pulled pork. For this, you need a good, somewhat fatty cut of pork shoulder. Previous attempts using meat bought at local grocers was somewhat lacking. I was never able to get the «falling off the bone» texture I was after. So I went to Kamp’s. It’s a small place, and they didn’t have what I wanted in the display case. I told the man behind the counter what I was after and he immediately told me what I needed. After a short trip to the back room, he emerged with a beautiful chunk of pig. Nice and marbled with fat, and about six pounds which is the perfect size.
I spiced it up and threw it in the smoker in the wee hours of Sunday morning. Ten hours later, it emerged a porkalicious work of art. The meat fell off the bone and was tender and juicy. Since I didn’t change my cooking method, I’m convinced that Kamp’s either has access to Magical Pigs, or at least a superior quality of meat. And it tasted fantastic, on a par with anything I can get at a local BBQ.
Amazingly, I didn’t pay a premium price for this premium cut of pork. Kamp’s is a bit of a drive for me, but I’ll be buying my meat there from now on when I break out the smoker. Dinner was a success, and I’m looking forward to leftovers!

It’s strange for me to write a review for a meat market. But I just wanted to say that this place sells high quality meats and with super helpful service. I needed to make some beef jerky for a camping trip for my boyfriend, this place recommended the cut of meat and even put it on their deli slicer so that I didn’t have to cut it at home.
On another occasion we went here to buy steaks. I would say they have the best selection in town. They also sell local farm eggs.

Walking in, I immediately just needed to eat everything, even though I was not at all hungry. The store smells so good it’s almost painful. Up front, a large cooler houses single servings of meals, sides, casseroles, appetizers and desserts. A single gal’s dream! A beautiful butcher counter contains everything from chicken thighs to beef tenderloin, and an expert butcher (Bill) on hand to answer all of your meat questions. I don’t know that raw meat has ever looked so beautiful as it does at Kamp’s.
Add a wonderful selection of cold cuts, sauces and chips means sandwich happiness forever. But the real find here are the homemade salads and side dishes made from scratch and sold by the ounce. Pasta salad, tabouli, curried chicken, coleslaw and more. Why go to the store and buy the ingredients required, when Bill’s is going to taste SO MUCH BETTER anyway?
