Donuts are DECADENT! The owners are super sweet too. Gave us a free bag of donut holes! The only reason I’m not rating this place a 5 is bc they have no vegetarian sandwich options on the menu.

I had the ham egg and cheese croissant and it was delicious. Fresh and cheesy! I also enjoyed a couple of donut holes that were equally great! I visited because of its proximity to OCU and will definitely visit next time I’m in town.

Best donuts in the world! The owners are super friendly. They could easily charge double the price for how good these are. $ 6.50 for a dozen of the PERFECT glazed! Go between 5 – 6 am cause the HOTDONUT light is ON!

Best Donuts in the neighborhood! Mom and Pop operated. I love supporting the sweet old couple who work hard to keep their local shop clean and the donuts fresh!

People talk about this place like the donuts were manufactured in the heavens and exported to the Bible Belt. I think there’s a little bit of overhype, which left me a little disappointed since I love donuts almost as much as I love my mom… though it’s debatable which I love more, depending on how hangry I am at the moment. Very pleasant staff in this mom and pop shop. Prices are pretty standard for a mom-and-pop donut shop. A nice stop-by when in the area, but no out-of-the-way detours for me for donuts made of baby angel tears. For donut holes made of baby angel tears, stop by J&J in Edmond sometime.

Ok so I love donuts, but I’m pretty picky! Visiting from Texas and went about an hour before they closed. Not much left but tried a glazed donut and donut holes:) the donut was good and the holes not to much. However my husband loved them. So I would say most likely the rest would be good. The man behind the counter was so so so nice! A big plus!

What makes a great donut shop is not always great donuts. Generally, I found the product at most donut shops is fairly homogenous. With the exception of a few«specialty» donut shops, what really draws me in his customer service and cleanliness. AM Donuts is well-worn, but always immaculate. It’s clear they take pride in their shop. But where they really shine is there warm and welcoming atmosphere. Each time I’ve been in, service has been efficient and friendly. Look inside your box or bag after you leave and you are sure to find a few donut holes thrown in for good measure. My current obsession are their old-fashioned donuts, which are perfect for dunking in your morning cup of coffee at the office. And with good prices, great service and a delicious selection of donuts(and savory options), I’ll be back to AM Donuts sooner than later.

Great place and environment. The doughnuts are excellent and I recommend them to anyone who’s looking for a great doughnut shop. I will come back again and everyone in my family loves them.

They have excellent jumbo sausage rolls with perfect sausage to bread ratio. The jalapeño rolls are jumbo in size as well. Larger than average long johns. I always appreciate a drive-thru. Fast, friendly service. I will be making this my go-to donut shop!

Slightly better than Krispy Kreme. Honestly, not what I expected. That said, they were airy and light and better than Dunkin.

Found this on Unilocal when I was having a serious donut hole craving… so i tried it out. Very friendly service! I got a dozen donut holes and one of their sausage biscuit sandwich. The biscuit sandwich was pretty plain but I wasn’t really expecting much from it since it has to be heated in a microwave. The donut holes were smaller than the average donut holes I’ve seen in my parts of the wood(CA). They were really fresh and light … and delicious! Only problem I encountered was when I counted my change(after I left) I realized I was gypped a dollar… not really a big deal. probably an honest mistake… but next time I will count my change while it is handed back to me(which I should have done in the first place, but i was a little too excited for those donut holes lol).

I typically cook my own breakfast, but if I head out for coffee in donuts, this is my go to spot. The service is always friendly, and the food is always awesome. A great selection of sausage rolls as well.

I found this place on Unilocal while in the area. One of the reviews said it was better than Dunkin Donuts, and I like to support smaller local businesses, so I decided to try it. I went through the drive-through because I did not have much time, so I can not comment on the atmosphere. However, the kolaches and donuts were ok, but I do not think they were great. The price was pretty fair and low, but I personally liked Dunkin Donuts products better.

Absolute BEST donuts in Uptown! The simple glazed donuts are fresh, light, creamy, and melt in your mouth the way the best donuts do. They also have amazing sausage rolls! Super clean eat-in area. There is a drive-through but I never use it — I like to go in and visit with the owners who are incredibly nice. Hands-down BEST donut shop in our part of OKC!

I tend to stick to a fairly strict diet during the week(a modified Paleo diet, if you’re curious, like what you’ll find in Tim Ferris’ book The Four-Hour Body), so one day a week I go crazy. Sometimes in moderation, sometimes full out binge insanity. Regardless, my free day often includes donuts. Dunkin’ Donuts on NW36th and May used to be my go-to place, but they often serve stale product and never seem to keep the things I like in stock. 7 – 11 donuts are consistently bad. Brown’s is okay, but the counter staff makes me regret it every time I go in(honestly, do you realize that customers are actually what keeps you in business? You must be brutally overworked and underpaid, or you’re simply miserable people). I have now found my new donut place. AM Donuts is just across NW28th Street from Rococo on N. Penn. It’s an old strip mall with nothing to write home about in terms of décor, but it’s clean and bright inside. You’re not here to hang around all day, though. You’re here for donuts, and AM Donuts delivers in a big way. Their products are amazingly fresh. The icings are sweet, but not cloying. The raised donuts are airy and topped with just enough icing/toppings to contribute flavor without making a mess. The cake donuts(which I usually shun as greasy dense hockey pucks) are where the freshness really comes across. They really taste like little circles of fresh, moist delightful cake. I’m so happy to discover this place. The neighborhoods like Shepherd, Putnam Heights, Crown Heights, Military Park, etc. needed a good donut shop. Now we’ve got one, so step up and support!
