With over 30 years of working with people in varying healing modalities, and over a decade as a Certified Colon Hydrotherapist, Jacalyn Booth of Ojai Digestive Health brings a deep level of caring, presence, and experience to the «art» of colon hydrotherapy. It is our goal to create an environment of comfort, relaxation, safety, and ease as we work with you to improve your digestive health. Colon hydrotherapy, also known as a colonic, is a safe and gentle flushing of the large intestine, also known as the colon, with filtered water. It has successfully been used for constipation, diarrhea, gas and bloating, cleansing, and many more issues. Some women find that a monthly session minimizes the symptoms of PMS. A person on a detox cleanse may benefit from colon therapy, as it may help alleviate symptoms such as headaches or joint pain sometimes associated with fasting or cleansing. Our clients often express feelings of being cleaner and lighter after their sessions.

History

Established in 2003.

I was actually invited to become a colon hydrotherapist by a doctor of acupuncture. He knew that I had been working with people physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually for many years, and wanted a colon therapist for his office who he felt would be good.

I am grateful every day! I love working with people to help them feel better and improve their health.
