Have often found pieces to purchase, but almost always receive rude and totally unhelpful service by the staff. In these times of very limited antique retail shops, I would hope that shop owners would want to hire welcoming and helpful folks to encourage sales.

Lots and lots of stuff Blacksmith’s Mall is a huge antique place with dozens of vendors. It’s listed as an antique place and even though it has some higher quality items, most of the inventory seems to be inexpensive, interesting and odd. It is a whole lot of fun to walk around and look at all the interesting and bizarre things. Most of the vendors were very friendly and seemed to enjoy talking about their stuff. It gets a bit cramped in places but there is something interesting where ever you look. Some incredibly tacky and cool items mixed in with the more aesthetic and well made things. Everything is just kind of lumped together. A cool place to spend some time and perhaps some money. You can easily walk out with a whole bunch of useless but cool stuff for very little money.

It’s a lot bigger than it looks. This covers a whole variety of objects. I am coming here again and I would recommend this to anyone passing through.

We had a TON of fun in this store! I thought the sales people were really nice and interesting. There were a lot of great finds in this store — I don’t know of an antique store I’ve had more fun exploring in a long time. They have kitchy alligator salt and pepper shakers and high end antiques. No big furniture I suppose but there doesn’t need to be in my opinion. And it’s HUGE you can spend a lot of time there quickly. AND everything was priced really decently. Well worth the drive.

Good-sized antique mall right on the main strip of Ogunquit. Potentially had a lot of promise but woe betide you if you arrive within striking distance of closing time. Unlike most antique malls which appreciate customers and give a little bit of buffer at closing time, and unlike most antique stores which close at 5 pm, this one closes at 4:45 pm and not a minute later. We were told we had to leave with a smirk. Looks like a good selection of collectibles, including pottery and glass which we collect — but wouldn’t spend a dime there after the attitude we were thrown. There’s much better and friendlier antiquing right up the road in Wells.

A huge indoors antique mall right in the heart of downtown Ogunquit. We stopped in on New Year’s Day as it was snowing and our beach and shopping options were limited. Once inside, this place is HUGE. All consignment booths with close to 100+ vendors, it has something for everyone. However not much big piece furniture, or high end pieces. I enjoyed shopping here. I found an old kitchen fork like the one from«The French Chef– The Potato Episode» The one where Julia uses to mash potatoes. One small quirk– too many signs posted everywhere«You break it, you bought it», You are being watched”, etc. No bathroom for customers. A good place to kill a couple of hours in Ogunquit.
