History

Established in 2007.

In 2007 we completed construction of our dream pet care facility.

Putting our 25 years of pet care and dog show experience to work for our clients, we’ve been able to achieve our mission of providing superior quality care and accomodations for guests at our resort, Pet’s comfort and safety is paramount but by providing that we are also able to give their owners peace of mind and enable them to enjoy their own travel and vacation experience.

Wow, what a disappointment. We paid $ 37/​day for the «Deluxe Safari Suite». Then was charged 30% extra for «early drop off». AT NOON! They said check-​in wasn’t until 4pm «just like a hotel». The difference is a hotel doesn’t charge extra, if the room is ready, you can have it. At least that was the case at «Grizzly Jacks» down the road.
I should have left when I walked into the «suite» the bedding not only looked soiled, but it smelled. Instead I went back to the car and got my own dog bed. The «exercise area» is a joke. 3 – 4 paddocks MAYBE 20’X20’. I have a 90 lb dog. I’m thinking I’m in farm country, wide open spaces. No. I usually fling tennis balls 50 – 100′ to wear her out. Luckily we only stayed 1 night. When I picked her up the next day she drank 2– ½ gallon bowels of water. I had heard of kennels depriving dogs of water so they didn’t pee so much but I never believed it. I also checked to see if there were any new foot prints in the snow in the «exercise area». NONE. The only footprints were ours from the day before. The other paddocks snow was un-​touched and it had not snowed for 4 days.
These people care about one thing, GETTING YOUR CREDIT CARD”. I’d bet $ 100 that the review by Jennifer O. from 2010 is bogus. The staff was very nice but poorly trained and over worked. I LOVE ANIMALS, PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE YOUR PET HERE.

I’ve been taking my Hound, Benny, here for 1 ½ yrs and there aren’t enough stars on Unilocal for this place! The owners, Fred & Diane and their staff are incredible! The owners live on-​site of this über-​awesome-​pet boarding facility that has a variety of pet suites & runs, paddocks for play pkgs & plenty of exercise, professional full-​service pet grooming srvcs, and training classes. Every dog is treated as an individual, the staff are all loving & attentive! And, the owners are dog-​experts. They’ve been raising dogs & winning U.S. dog shows for 20+ years. All their advice has been superior to anybody else’s. They treat my Benny like family! He absolutely loves his play pkgs & his overnights there! If you never want to worry about boarding your dog, getting some awesome doggie day care, or a real professional groom job, this is the place hands down.
